- Berchtesgaden - After a scenic drive along the German Alpine Road through impressive scenic valleys, we reach Berchtesgaden.
- Obersalzberg - The 2-hour bus journey continues to Obersalzberg, where you’ll get off the bus.
- The Eagle’s Nest - A special bus and an elevator tunneled straight through the rock bring you up to the Eagle’s Nest, a high command post built by the Nazi party for Hitler’s 50th birthday.
- Berggasthof Obersalzberg - After departure from Obersalzberg, we’ll stop for lunch at a restaurant (costs not included in tour price)
- Dokumentationszentrum Obersalzberg - After a 30-minute drive we’ll arrive at the NS-Documentation Center (visit is optional; at own expense).
- Munich - At approx. 4pm we’ll start the return journey to Munich where we’ll arrive at approx. 6pm.

Join a comprehensive day-long coach journey from Munich to explore the Berchtesgaden Mountains, which were once Hitler’s mountain hideaway and the Nazi party’s southern base. The Eagle’s Nest, constructed by the Nazis, is an intriguing landmark with profound historical implications. Positioned at an elevation of 6,148 feet (1,834 meters) on Mt Kehlstein, the lodge offers some of the most stunning Alpine views in Germany. Intriguingly, Hitler, who suffered from acrophobia, seldom appreciated these vistas.
- In case of snow and ice, the Eagle’s Nest will be closed and world famous Salt Mines will be visited instead

Amazing tour - Great tour . Definitely worth going on . Eagles nest was fantastic , the scenery and views from the mountains and the bus ride are amazing . The bunker system at the documentation centre is great, could have spent a lot longer there . The guide was very attentive and knowledgeable which really added to the experience. There are a few restaurants at the sites , don’t bother the food is average at best . Otherwise a fantastic experience

Eagles Nest Tour - Ursula was our guide. She was delightful. She is very knowledgeable and interesting. The driver did great job. We definitely recommend this trip.

Great experience for the whole family! - The tour guide and bus driver were amazing! The adventure was well planned and timely. The views were gorgeous, and we took a lot of pictures!!

Great Tour - Absolutely amazing tour. Elisabeth was a great guide and made sure we had a very full experience at the Obersalzberg and The Eagles Nest. One of the best day trips I've ever done.

Passionate guide and great experience - Really good trip. Our guide Ursula told many things on the way down there and back home. Also a lot I had never heard of before. She showed the various sights along the way from Munich to Berchtesgardn. She was up in Eagle’s nest etc. We felt safe and informed all the way through.
All in all a super informative and exciting trip. Thanks to Ursula.

Absolutely incredible! - Absolutely incredible! Our guide Elisabeth was very knowledgeable about the entire visit to the eagles near and Berchtesgaden and the surrounding area. The scenery from Munich was incredible and very enjoyable. Tour group was about 50 people. Not horrible at all and we had plenty of time to explore the area. Luckily the weather was perfect so we could really take in all of the beauty. Definitely worth it!

Really great experience - Ursula was a great host and Fi was a fabulous driver. The tour was so interesting and we’re really glad we went. It was so informative and the views at Berchtesgaden was incredible.

Fascinating despite the weather - Amazing views, lovely tour guide (Lotta), fantastic lunch. We were unlucky with the weather and the queuing to get into the lift on the way down was in no way organised- people were jostled around and skipped with no one from the site in charge. This wasn’t the fault of the tour company but it did put a dampener on things. Still very much a worthwhile experience. Thanks for the schnapps to warm us up Lotta! The tour of the documentation centre is very interesting and suitable for all ages from older kids upwards.

Beautiful venue- poor organization - The views from the Eagles nest were breathtaking. We wish we spent more time there instead of at the bus station. There were no shades or AC to cool off while waiting for the bus to go back. Poor planning, wasted at least 2 hours for lunch, minimal information about the history of the Eagles nest. We’re not informed that the restaurant at the Eagles nest does not take credit cards.
