A great tour - A long drive to and from Munich, but well worth it when you reach the top of the Eagle's Nest. Recommended for anyone into history, or amazing scenery.

Fantastic trip to see majestic views, a quaint village and to learn more history! - The trip followed the itinerary as described- the guide was knowledgeable and offered interesting tidbits. Spent an appropriate amount of time at each spot. Loved the scenery and history. It was foggy at the top of Eagles Nest but did have great weather at the bottom.

A very interesting day! - Elizabeth was an absolutely outstanding guide! And our bus driver was equally fantastic. This trip while it does have dark undertones because of the history, it is an absolute much do. The view is spectacular (we did get lucky with a sunny day) and while the building is actually very tiny it’s an impressive feat when you think about how it was built.

Tour to Berchtesgaden and Ørneredet - Very interesting tour and very clever and knowledgeable guide. Per ⁇ the Documentation Centre was more interesting than the Eagles. Absolute value for money.

July 24 - Elisabeth and the driver were amazing and very informative! I would have loved a little bit more time in the town or for the Documentation centre, but it was a very fascinating day.

Moving and thought-provoking - This tour which was tremendous and a great source of history. It was led by Franciszka who was informative. Leaving Munich, you got a bit of history about the City and Bavaria. As you got closer to Berchtesgaden, it was organized very smoothly. We had plenty of time to visit Eagle's Nest and appreciate what took place there. After descending we had the opportunity for lunch or the Documentation Center with the tunnels/bunkers. We chose the Documentation Center and found it incredibly well-done. (For those that may have gone earlier, it now has much more than before, and takes a considerable amount of time to go through.) The tunnels/bunkers themselves are fascinating, especially considering when and why they were built. Most appreciated was time in Berchtesgaden and seeing the community itself with its crafts.

average - It was rushed and you can just do it yourself by catching public transport there. Dont go when its cloudy because you wont see the great views.
