You will spend 3 hrs at the Memorial and be given historical context about the site by your guide. All areas of the site will be covered including barracks, Crematorium and gas chamber, bunker punishment block and maintenance building, with historical context given. Time will also be allocated for the excellent museum exhibition.
- Marienplatz - Relax, your guide will escort you all the way back to the original start point at Marienplatz at approximately 2pm. You can of course depart anywhere on the train journey back including Munich main station.

Ausgesichnet! - Our tour guide was fantastic. He gave us an historical review of the evolution of fascism in Germany and the institution of concentrations camps in Germany and elsewhere. I highly recommend this tour.

Great guide; must-see this history. - Our guide, Alun, was very knowledgeable, patient and was willing to answer any questions. He made the experience so much more real and heartfelt, and he was understanding to the needs of our group and kept us together on both the train and bus!

Great respectful tour of a difficult subject - Excellent tour. From the first meeting on the square to guiding a group to Dachau using public transportation Alun was very clear what to expect. He was very knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge...which was vast. It is a hard tour at least emotionally...but highly recommend everyone take the opportunity to tour Dachau.

Very educational and well organized trip - Our tour guide Alun was extremely knowledgeable about Dachau. He was very conscientious that the entire group was together. We were provided with the perfect amount of free time to explore the museum at our own pace. Highly recommend!!

Very somber yet informative and important tour! - My sister, son, his girlfriend and I all feel Alun’s tour was extremely informative, thought-provoking, and very well done. Our tour was full- yet he managed to shepherd us all onto a train and bus to get to Dachau (and back- very busy!). He explained things very clearly and thoughtfully, and yet gave us time to process everything.
We could have gone to Dachau on our own, but we learned so much from Alun!

Dachau History Lesson with Alun - Alun was an amazing guide to help us better understand the context of Dachau. He is so knowledgeable as well as being respectful of the place and its history. We highly recommend taking the time to visit this site with him. You will learn a lot.

Something everyone should experience. - Alun is a fantastic guide for the Dachau concentration camp and the surrounding area. We are fascinated with the amount of knowledge and thought provoking detail that was included in the tour. This a solemn reminder of the importance of our history and how easily the human mind can be coerced.
