Worth every minute! - Monica was the best guide we have had in two weeks. She was very knowledgeable and her delivery was delightful. Reverence mixed with enough information with wry humor thrown in. Seemed to genuinely enjoy her job.

Easter Sunday —Conni provided an excellent tour! - Easter Sunday was a challenge due to limited trains/buses but Conni did outstanding to brief us, get ready, and in the end…an excellent experience visiting a respectful place such as Dachau.

Sobering, educational, unforgettable - This was an unforgettable experience. Our guide, Ulrich, not only shared facts but also stories which shed light on the victims and perpetrators. We had previously been to Auschwitz and wondered if the Dachau tour would be significantly different, and it was. The information we learned on this tour contextualized what we already knew about Auschwitz and WWII.

Heartbreaking but important knowledge - The tour was very informative. Our guide was clear regarding transportation directions and made the trip to and from the camp a breeze. It is a heart wrenching tour but definitely important to see and learn about.

Grateful to have gone! - Stef was an amazing guide! She was very knowledgeable, personal, and interactive. She was open to answering any questions. She shared her own family's personal history with Dachau. She took us on the train where she gave us our first bits of information. The we went on a bus and when we got to the camp while she checked us in we had 10 minutes to use the restrooms, look at the bookstore or grab a snack. There is not eating or drinking while you are in Dachau. At the end we had time to go back through the museum. She paced us well and allowed times for us to look at the information on our own. She reminded us that it is impossible to read through all the information during the tour. However I felt she was doing a great job of summarizing what was on the posters and displays. It was hard to hear what happened but so important to understand what happened and the propaganda that was created to hide it.

If you are a student of... - If you are a student of history, this tour is worth the money. It provides a good overview of the political situation that led up to the founding of the camp, as well as the daily camp operations. It doesn’t provide a deep dive into history, but a quick overview.
