National Socialist regime.
We guide you round the cells, barracks and gas chamber
and explain the meaning behind the pictures and exhibits in
the museum with thought-provoking accounts of prisoners’
own experiences, from the setting up of the camp until their
liberation by US-forces in 1945.
There is a 22 minute documentary film in English, although
we stress that this is deemed unsuitable for children underv 13 years old

Highly recommended. Wow. - Highly recommended! I’m not sure one can exactly put into words a tour like this. Michael was our guide and he was great! Organized, prompt, respectful, knowledgeable, friendly, educated. I can’t thank him enough for this opportunity that myself and my boys had. This will forever be remembered in so many ways.

Poignant Dachau - Amazing and poignant trip, the guide was incredible and knew the detail of Dachau, she was incredibly knowledgeable and never once could she never answer a question our group put towards her.
By walking into Dachau, it gave you a chill knowing what happened in this place back in 1933-1945. The stories are upsetting, poignant and sad. It’s very well done and it deserves a visit. Don’t miss it.

Dachau Concentration Camp Tour - "Visiting Dachau was a sobering and deeply moving experience.
Walking through the camp, seeing the barracks, and standing in the same spaces where so many suffered was a powerful reminder of the
atrocities of the past.

A profound experience - This was very profound and sombre experience. Our tour leader Michael took his responsibilities very seriously and it was clear he had undergone significant training and education in the subject matter; we certainly learned a lot we had not previously understood about this era of history. He was clearly passionate about his role as a guardian of the truth of those times. In addition to guiding our group he showed guardianship of the site, picking up litter and ensuring others did not break the rules of conduct.

Going on this tour of... - Going on this tour of Dachau was not only one of the most memorable parts of my vacation but will likely be one of the most memorable places I've ever gone. Although you can visit the site as an individual, I highly recommend going with this tour group. There is a lot to read and see and it's difficult to absorb everything in one visit. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the concentration camp and it's context within the war. She was able to draw attention to the extent of the horror without being disrespectful to the dead. This tour also provided extra facts about the social economic conditions and politics that led to these monsterous conditions, as well as the companies and people who benefited from the genocide. With or without the tour group, this is a historic site that I believe everyone should visit and learn about.

Educational and Important Tour - We had Connie as our tour guide and she was amazing!!! We learned so much from her about Dachau and the history of World War II. This was a very significant and important tour, and we would definitely recommend this experience to others.

Bad info for meeting spot. - Schedule for tour. The viator app had different meeting spot location, so I did not complete the trip with this tour. Went on my own and toured solo.
Entrance fee is free for Dachau camp and audio tour was €4.50.
Train ticket for all day usage was €12.00 to/from Munich.
