Great castles with great guides - Both castles are great. However we enjoyed the detail of the finished Linderhoff castle the most. It was beautiful. The experience was enhanced by our wonderful guide Christina and our driver Tony. Thank you!

Excellent Palace and castle trip - Christina was our amazing guide. We were so lucky to have her. From the very start she started telling about interesting historical stories, events of the region we were exploring. She gave lots of information about King Ludwig and all her travel instructions were crystal clear. She even had little visual boards telling about the times we needed to come back to the bus. I really enjoyed my trip and will highly recommend her as a tour guide for the castle trips.

Wow - Long bus ride but the castles were worth the trip. Suggest eating at drop off to thin out the rush to the top. We had plenty of time for the walk.

First time in Germany - We had the best time! Highly recommended this tour!! I would recommend bringing a swimsuit so that you can go swimming in the lake before (or after) you visit the castle. The bus was comfortable and clean. Christine was very friendly and informative. Would absolutely do this tour again!

Good tour, but beware - Tour guide was good on the bus, but while walking she would start talking before people had time to gather around. Could have used headsets. Great tour of the beautiful Bavarian countryside. We were all taken aback when we arrived at Neuschwanstein at 1 and were told that we weren’t entering the castle until 4:10. That info should have been provided sooner.

FYI - Did we enjoy the tour? Yes. Worth the money? Yes. However, there are a few things to note. - For a 10.5 hour day, a total of 50 minutes is spent in the castles (25 minutes per castle). - Castle entry fees are collected in CASH and not included in the tour cost. - The Neuschwanstein Castle tour is audio guided. - No photos allowed in castles. - We arrived at the town outside of Neuschwanstein at 1:30pm. Our scheduled tour time was 4:10pm. There is quite a bit of waiting around. Again, we enjoyed ourselves. But these are the things we wish we knew in advance!
