Situated right at an entry point to the English Garden, the Ludwig Maximilian University serves as an excellent kick-off location for a rickshaw tour across the whole park. Guided by professionals, you can explore both the frequented highlights in the park’s southern portion (including the Chinese tower, the surfer wave on Eisbach, the Kleinhesseloher See), the Maximiliansanlagen nestled between Friedensengel and Maximilianeum, and the English Garden’s northern section. With some luck, we might encounter a herd of sheep, an amphitheater, the Mini Hofbräuhaus, and a rich mixture of nature and architecture. All this set within an urban landscape!
