Additional Information

The Glyptothek represents the most enthralling assemblage of Greek, Roman, and Etruscan statues I am acquainted with.

It is a singular museum dedicated to Greek Statuary. Established by King Ludwig I, in collaboration with his most adept architect, Klenze, this venue is a must-visit when in Munich. My city visibly displays the bond with Greece, credited to the role of the Regent’s son Otto who became the inaugural Greek King.

On my guided tours, attendees get a glimpse into antiquated mythology and the evolution of sculpture and art. I cater solely to small groups to provide the paramount experience to my attendees.

Quite a few of the art pieces were initially exhibited in the Antiquarium at the Munich Residence - making a visit to the Glyptothek an appropriate extension after touring the royal palace.
