Beertastic experience! :-) - One of the best group tours we have ever done ! Angus, our leader was brilliant, not only informative but great craic and managed the group well. We knew no one at the start of the night, but by the end of the tour we were all having great craic together!!! A must do beer tour if in Munich ! Thanks for a great evening Angus, Majella & Liam :-)

Dan - The tour was overall outstanding- informative, interesting, tasty and a great value. More than any of these, however, was the singular pleasure deriving from the group dynamic fostered by our guide , Angus’s, attention to the needs of individual participants. By the end of the four hours it was poignantly clear from exchanges of hugs and kisses, telephone numbers and email addresses, that the tour had facilitated formation of significant interpersonal contact and that most did not want it to end. This was even more remarkable considering the fact that by pure chance one of the group’s members had been an “ugly drunk”, inappropriately boisterous and outrightly bothersome. Curiously this seemed to even strengthen the bonds between the others in the group . Well done Angus! You have the makings of an educator and leader. One critical point I would make is that the tour presents itself as intimate, limited to six, whereas on-site add-ons were clearly welcomed and we were ultimately 14 in number. Though in our particular instance it “worked”—again, to my assessment, as a result of Angus’s adept guidance—this characterization was misleading. Thank you. Well done, Dan from Jerusalem.

1 litre, 16 seconds - Never have I ever drank so much beer in one sitting in my life, and never have I ever had such a wonderful time doing so. Our guide was fantastic, being incredibly friendly, considerate, and knowledge, and the atmosphere was amazing. If you find yourself in Munich with time to spare, this tour is an absolute must! Just make sure you have the morning after free to recover...

The full Munich experience - We had a blast on this tour! We learned so much about the local brews and culture, enjoyed several different and delicious beers while taking in the cheerful atmosphere. Our tour guide, Lauren, made this tour SO fun and relaxed. The other people on our tour were fantastic company and at different stops we swapped stories from our original homelands and enjoyed learning about each other. Overall, I found the tour to be one of the most enjoyable and memorable activities in Munich!

Highlight of my Munich trip - So much fun. Tour guide kept the energy and beer flowing. Was on a layover for business and all the groups bonded and made friends. Did not want it to end and most continued to hang out after the tour ended.

Fun time with a good history lesson - Angus did a great job as our guide. He was entertaining and managed our large group well. I was solo since I was in town for business but that didn’t matter. Everyone in the group had their own story and we blended well. I would recommend to anyone that curious about German beer and looking to combine that with fun.

Gemütlichkeit Abounds - Took the evening tour on a Saturday night. A good-sized crowd turned out from all over the world, and we ambled the city together in good spirits. Our guide Lauren was hilarious fun, keeping us in order (and safe from the perils of the bike lane!) and keeping us laughing. She let us know at each brewery stop how long we’d have to drink, and made it super clear what was included, (and how to order extra beers if we were extra-thirsty!) At every stop, she gave us interesting lessons on Munich beer history and culture, and the breweries that we visited. Everyone mingled and chatted with everyone, and even after the tour ended, a lot of people stayed together to enjoy a few last beers, and midnight Döner kebabs at the delicious places Lauren recommended. Great way to make friends and experience that famous “gemütlichkeit” (coziness) of Munich beer drinking.

Great quick pub tour and history lesson - The guide really made the tour. Angus was able to get around and engage everyone in the group and drop interesting facts about German and especially Munich’s beer culture. Worth it.
