Great tour of the Christmas Markets with a great guide - Very informative tour through the Christmas Markets, guide was very flexible and tweaked the tour based on our preferences on the fly which was very appreciative. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the markets and experience the food, drinks and history.

Good experience, good energy, more food though. - Lockie’s energy and excitement for what he does truly made this tour a memorable experience. Even in the rain we were having a great time. I will say that, on other tours I have done, there were more food stops along the way and it would’ve been nice to have 1-2 more food items along with the drinks. Overall, the experience was both fun and educational and would highly recommend you do this Christmas tour! If you are planning your trip, I’d recommend avoiding the weekend of Christmas “12/20-12/23” as some of the highlight booths Lockie wanted to show us were already sold out and packing up.

So Much Fun! - This was my second excursion with BlackBook Tours, and it was such a memorable experience! Lockie was knowledgeable, friendly, and was willing to chat not just about the Christmas markets and foods/drinks, but about local culture and customs as well. Almost everybody in the group had questions for him, and he very amiably and enthusiastically answered everyone all through the trip. He was attentive to each individual's needs, and seemed to have just as much fun as the group did. It was like getting acquainted with a friend! I had the best time. The weather was dreadful, but the great company, history tidbits, food and drinks made the trip 100% worth it, even in the bitter cold wind and rain.

Must for Christmas market first time! - Had a great time on the tour! Tour guide able to get reserved spots at very nice market points. She was very personable and took time to tell us about the city, markets, food and drink throughout. Would do again!

Fabulous Way to Experience the Christmas Markets - This tour was fabulous! My mom and I had such a great time learning about Munich and all the Christmas markets. It was amazing to have expert guidance on exactly which markets to go to and exactly which gluhwein stands to get drinks from. Katrina is a pleasure to talk to and I honestly just wanted to hang out with her the rest of the day! Can’t recommend this tour enough. We were nice and buzzed by the end of it and had a blast!

An inside view of Munich’s wonderful Christmas markets including drinks and food that make them special. - From the minute we met Katrina we felt like she was a friend. She chatted constantly flying between history, customs of Munich and her life. She had an extensive knowledge of local beverages and food. We tucked into special Christmas huts and enjoyed drinks that we would have never experienced on our own, She customized the tour on the spot depending on what interested us. We were truly was sad when we left her. Wished we could have hung out all day. She was BIG FUN! Katrina gave us an inside view of her wonderful festive city. We were lucky to have her.

Fun Fabulous Christmas tour full of cheer! - We were looking to do a fun and informative tour of the christmas markets in Munich it was our luck to get Lockie as our guide! With a quick wit and knowledge base of the historic meanings we quickly had a bonded group of 7. We toured the main market then went to specialty themed markets each with a special food or drink treat for all and a chance to get to know our comrades better. We dont spesk German nor did the others but Lockie put us st ease with his keen New Zealand sense of fun and we all had a great fun afternoon and evening! Highly recommend!

Lockie was extremely... - Lockie was extremely funny and personable… At every stop he gave us a vast history recollection of everything and it was quite informative.
We are from California and he is a skier and he knew everything about Lake Tahoe, which is about two hours from where we live… It was quite amazing!!!
He took his time on the tour and was very accommodating to all parties. Generally seem to care that everybody had a great time.
This was our favorite tour in Munich

Lockie was great! - Lockie took his time and explained the Christmas markets, as well as the history behind some of the Christmas folklore. He had a lot of information and details… he was funny, very personable, and very easy to get along with! Ask for Lockie, the next time you take this tour!
