- Marienplatz - Marienplatz is the center of Munich’s old town. Here you will find the new town hall, the Marian column, the historic old town hall, the fish fountain and the “Old Peter”, the oldest parish church in Munich, grouped around Marienplatz.
- Frauenkirche - This late Gothic church from the 16th century is the symbol of Munich. The interior of this cathedral church will delight even non-religious visitors.
- New Town Hall (Neus Rathaus) - The new town hall is by no means new. Construction began in 1867 in the neo-Gothic style, with Art Nouveau elements inside. The monumental building is still the seat of Munich’s mayor today and impresses not only with its architecture and its famous carillon, but also with the wonderful view from the observation tower
- Staatliches Hofbrauhaus - This iconic Munich landmark is as famous as the legendary “Oktoberfest”. Our tour will end here and if you wish, you can stay and experience some German “Gemütlichkeit”, superb local bavarian cousine and -of course- the one or other beer on your own. Otherwise we will return you to your hotel
- Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site - not exactly a fun place to visit but a “must see” for it´s historical significance. KZ Dachau was one of the first KZ and within 13 years of operations more than 41.000 inmates had been killed.
- Schloss Neuschwanstein - Often referred to as the “fairytale castle” this magnificent palace is the most visited German tourist sight. We will walk the way up for a better view (app. 20 minutes), however we cannot guarantee an interior visit. Unfortunatly ticketing is “based on availability” upon arrival. But you will love it anyways!
