A Munich Culinary Experience that explores beyond the basics:
We make our guests feel like locals, exploring diverse taste experiences including traditional dishes like sausages, beer, and freshly baked products, in addition to a visit to the historic Viktualienmarkt (Victuals Food Market), which has been in operation since 1807. Here, we dive deep into the rich culture of the historic food market stalls.
We begin with a traditional ‘Weisswurstfruehstueck’ accompanied by Weißbier. The excursion proceeds to the renowned Viktualienmarkt where we indulge in delectable food stalls, savouring authentic local delicacies, preserved meats and discovering seasonal tastes.
Your local Munich gourmet guide will ensure your stomach is full with Munich’s traditional flavours while providing an understanding of the historic food market, Maypole and its well-known attractions and architecture.

Awesome combination food &history tour - Dania was an excellent guide! We tried a variety of food with stops and historical information provided! Great places, restaurants, and of course tastings(some were like full meals).

Great tour - We had a fantastic food tour with Daniel. We were a little lost initially finding him, but he immediately called us to help us out. He was not only very informative but made the tour super enjoyable. We really appreciated all his hard work at the Viktualienmarkt on a busy Saturday! He is the best!

Great Way to Start a Saturday Morning! - Kevin was an excellent guide! He was very knowledgeable on the area as well as the traditions and culture of Munich! The food we had was excellent and it was DEFINITELY a full lunch. I would highly recommend this food tour!

Experienced the Munich food market as a local! - We had a great time with tour guide Liam. Among other things, we experienced the food market as a local would, and tried all sorts of items that we never would have on our own. Great experience - would recommend to friends!

Best food tour!! Kevin is the best! - The tour was the best! Kevin was so welcoming and talked about some of the history of Munich while feeding us delicious treats. The meeting spot was easy to find, and the tour started on time. First we had breakfast at a local restaurant and then moved onto the market after getting some falafel at a shop. At the market we had fresh fruit and dessert. This went along with our meat sandwich from a butcher shop. During the tour, we also had a nice 15 minute break to sit down, use the restroom, or grab a drink which was nice. We ended at a beer garden with beer and snacks, of course. I would highly recommend this food tour to anyone that’s looking to try some local food and explore a small piece of Munich. It’s great for solo travelers or family and friends. Kevin was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and happy. He remembered names which is impressive to me. 10 out of 5 stars!

Delicious food, educational and fun tour! - Kevin was our guide and we really enjoyed the food tour. First, Kevin was very friendly. He provided a lot of insights as we walked through key areas he wanted to show us. The food spots he chose were all delicious, in fact we went back to one the next day. He also gave very helpful tips on other sights to see while we were in Munich. We highly recommend a tour with him, thank you Kevin!

Best Tour Guide Ever - all the best food in Munich. - I went on this tour with a friend. We loved every minute of it. Bridget was an amazing tour guide. She knew the history of the city as well as the history of the various foods in Munich. Bridget had many stories to share, about the food as well as the city. She was so enthusiastic. Everyone agreed that our tour was great - a lot of that was due to Bridget. One highlight was walking through the Viktualienmarkt. We sampled lots of different fruits, spreads, cheeses, and of course, pretzels! Delicious!!! I highly recommend this tour.

Don't Miss the Fork and Walk Food Tour! - This was great tour and our tour guide, Bridgette, was wonderful. We had wonderful food and drinks, while learning not only food history, but history about Munich in general. Our 1st stop was for breakfast, and the sausage was delicious! The highlight for me was walking through the market, and choosing the multiple foods we were going to eat for our smorgasboard lunch. Fun and delicious!
I highly recommend this tour!
