Munich Must-See: Whirlwind Walking Tour Wins Me Over! - Munich in three hours? You bet! This walking tour was like a whirlwind history lesson, but the fun kind. We squeezed in all the main sights, from the impressive clock tower at Marienplatz to the colorful stalls of the Viktualienmarkt food market (grab a pretzel, trust me!). Our guide was a walking encyclopedia, dropping knowledge bombs about everything from architecture to local delicacies (think delicious sausages and maybe a refreshing Radler!). It wasn't all lectures though, there were hidden alleyway gems and funny stories mixed in too. Just be prepared for some walking, comfy shoes are a must! This tour is a perfect way to get your bearings in Munich, especially if you're short on time.

our family had a lovely time - Our family had such a lovely time visiting Munich Our guide was incredibly friendly and accommodating, answering all our questions with enthusiasm. he personalized itinerary to our interests and allowed us to explore at our own pace. No show!!!! - This tour never happened! We booked it the night before with a 9:00am pick up time at our hotel. At 9:30am we we’re still waiting for a pickup. I contacted the tour operator to no avail. I then contacted Viator. The rep tried to contact the tour operator three times, but no one responded. She emailed him and about 10:00am he responds that the tour guide was reached and informed of the tour??? At 10:30, the tour guide sends me a message that she’s not coming because it’s too far out. I requested a refund immediately. As I’m now not in Germany, but back in the US, the company now wants to deny my refund. To make matters worse, Viator wants me to contact the tour operator to discuss the issue as all the managers are “in a meeting.” I didn’t book through the vendor. I booked through Viator, so they should be the ones addressing this issue. A very frustrating and disappointing experience.
