Wonderful Experience - We had a great time on this tour! You get to see Linderhof Palace as well as the Neuschwanstein Castle, and the tour is set up so that you are not in a rush and have plenty of time to explore/eat lunch which we enjoyed. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Felt like a fairytale - We were there in the winter season so be prepared for cold temperatures. Still absolutely stunning in the winter with the Bavarian Alps as the backdrop. I’ve never seen anything like it! We had a tour guide who was very knowledgeable too and the trip went smoothly.

The tour company... - The tour company communicated with us so well when we had major delay coming from the U.S. The company was helpful and flexible. Thank you for making our holiday vacation not a disappointing one!

Great tour overall, weather in the mountains is always unpredictable 👐 - Make sure to take photos once the tour inside the castle has finished, there's a balcony with a panoramic view on Aplsee, the second castle, and the mountains.

Perfect for seeing 2 castles and getting the history behind them! - Cansel was a fantastic tour guide and very knowledgeable! Was perfect! You get the opportunity to buy tickets on the coach from the tour guide to see both the inside of Linderhof and Nueschwanstein and it was 100% worth it! There is a lot of walking but it’s an unavoidable thing if you are wanting to see the sights. Not recommended if you’re unfit. Also the best Apfelstrudel can be found in a cafe called Ludwig’s Stuberl in the township you stop in when you see Nueschwanstein. A great recommendation from Cansel!

A "must do" when in Munich - Fantastic tour! Elisabeth was an exceptional tour guide. We enjoyed both castles immensely. Neuschwanstein was a particularly magical experience in winter, although the bridge walk behind the castle was inaccessible due to icy conditions. Linderhof would be better to experience in warmer months as the gardens are an integral feature, which can't be fully appreciated in winter. If winter is your only time to experience it, I still recommend going. The interior is something to behold! The tour was well organised and highly informative. Make sure you have cash for your tours. We were a little short due to the extra reservation fee the tours companies have to pay to secure entry for their customers, but there was an ATM at Linderhof, which was fortunate.

It was a great road trip... - It was a great road trip from Munich visiting king Ludwig's castles and learning about his history as well as the history of Bavaria. Our guide cancel (her name) was very knowledgeable and interesting the drive to linderhof castle is about an hour and about another hour and half to neuschwanstein and we were not bored for one min as our guide pointed out all the important sites along the way and gave us plenty of backstory and explained the importance. The entrance into both castles in 37 EUR pp paid in cash on the bus. This is my opinion was definitely worth it as it gets you a guided tour in both castles and looking at the interiors of the castles was the highlight of the trip for sure. We were there on a snowy day which added to magic of the experience. Both castles were exceptional and having an amazing your guide only made the trip more fun would definitely recommend doing this round trip if you are visiting Munich. Would recommend taking headphones for the drive back as it is roughly 2 and half hours back to Munich.

Stunning scenery, worthwhile tour. - Our guide was very informative and the journey in the bus on such a cold day (-5) was very comfortable and warm. Great to return to after each outing during the day. Beautiful landscape and our stops are as described in the tour. It is explained in the tour that you need to bring cash but it would be great if there was a card payment method aswell. We forgot to bring enough cash on the day (our fault) which meant missing out on one of the entries to the palace. It turned out we could've just paid at the entrance but that was not explained. Other than that, the whole day was fantastic.
