Magical VIP trip to Neuschwanstein Castle - Annette was a fabulous tour guide! We selected the small group 10 hour VIP tour and was well worth every dime. Tour included snacks and beverages on the bus. Annette was very informative and made our group feel like VIP from start to finish to Neuschwanstein Castle and a few other stops. The castle and scenery is magical. Highly recommend this tour and all other Viator Tours.

The VIP experience was superb, from our knowledgeable guide, Ursula, to our most accommodating driver. - We traveled to Neuschwanstein Castle on a damp, cloudy day. The clouds were hanging low over the mountains. Suddenly, as we approached the castle sitting high on a precipice of the mountain, tha clouds parted and the castle was miraculously visible. What a sight!

Beautiful tour of small towns and castles. - Beautiful tour of the towns. The tour guide and driver were excellent. There is quite a bit of walking required at Neuschwanstein Castle so be prepared for that.

A great day in Germany - A great trip all round! Friendly Tour Guide and very professional driver! Scenery amazing. Well worth it. A lovely way to see more of Germany.

A wonderful experience - We enjoyed our tour very much. Our guide was excellent and our driver was very safe. The castles were both beautiful and an experience I’m glad we paid to have. Snacks and water were generously provided and after one of our stops if you wanted a beer that was provided as well. I recommend this tour. The only thing about Neuschwanstein is I would make sure to ask which is the shortest and easiest walk back to the bus.

Splendid Winter Day Trip - An unforgetable, magical day! The castle and palace were breathtaking, especially covered in snow! Our tour guide and bus driver were extremely friendly and knowledgable. They made the bus ride fun by sharing cultural, geographical, and historical information along the way, but also gave us plenty of time to peacefully enjoy our scenic journey. Refreshments were provided and the coach was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this day trip.

Must do - excellent tour in every way - We are really pleased that we booked the VIP option to visit Neuchschwanstein Castle. Travel was by luxury coach with panaramic windows so great views of the countryside and mountains once we headed out of Munich. We certainly received a VIP experience with hot and cold drinks on board, light snacks and a toilet not to mention the friendliness of Johnny our guide and the driver. The entire day ran extremely smoothly, everything was arranged for us so we really did not have to worry about a thing. Johnny shared some really interesting facts, figures, and information about the way of life in Munich and surronding area during the first leg of the trip which was great. The first stop at Linderhop Palace was incredible. It included a pre-arranged small group 35 minute tour inside the Castle which provided us with some wonderful tales about King Ludwig II, we would never have learnt otherwise. The gardens around the Castle were beautiful, we were lucky to have enjoyed them on such a sunny day. We also had a short stop at the most pictureseque village (Oberammergau) and once again Johnny kindly shared some historical information about the village which was great. Final stop, Neuschwanstein Castle, the most beautiful drive heading to it and a wonderful photo opportunity from a bridge opposite. Johnny, politely impressed upon us the importance of keeping to the timing. To have lunch, recommending that we take the bus ride option to the bridge photo opportunity (not to be missed) before meeting at the Castle entrance for our timed tour. Wise words, there was a queue at the bridge, I think we were waiting approx 20-25 mins which we were told was pretty good. There was no time to spare so we were really glad we followed Johhny's advice. We had lovely lunch of grilled sausage and potato salad at Schloss Bräustüberl, which was promptly served, before heading to the bus ticket office (cash only for a couple of Euros per person from memory) which took us up to the bridge photo op and Castle. For info, we walked down from the castle rather than take the bus which was fine as downhill. The whole day was incredible from start to finish, not only because of what we saw but because it was incredibly well organised and informative, allowing us to truly enjoy ourselves and not worry about a thing. It is pretty busy around Neuschwanstein and entrance into the Castle is timed so I imagine it would be challenging to organise yourselves without knowledge of how your trip may pan out.

Perfect tour ! - Wonderful tour, excellent guide. The bus was very comfortable and the guide was great at telling us interesting things about both castles. No waiting in line, plenty of free time to explore before going to the next castle. Both castles were so beautiful with excellent guides. Perfect day and the small group was so worth the little bit of extra money!

Good tour of castles - Skip the passion tour, add a third castle. Great bus and tour guide. Would have like more of the town tour was omitted and 3rd castle added.
