10/10 Highest Recommendation 👏 👏 - The castle was fairytale fantastic. Don't miss it. But this review is about Mike's Bike Shop, the tour provider. Our guide was Tyler and he did a great job. He was gregarious, funny, responsible, knowledgeable, caring, punctual, professional and helpful. Thanks, Tyler. Glad we got you. A+

Book the tickets! The... - Book the tickets! The castle was beautiful. We were lucky enough to catch it on a fresh snow day. So magical. Our guide was great. He offered a good bit of history as we drove. We didn't hear about romantic road though. There are drinks for purchase on the bus, which was nice. If you have mobility issues I recommend you skip the free time in town and wait in line for the horses or bus. There were some ladies that nearly missed our tour time because they turned back to take the horses. Buses weren't running in the snow. The Christmas market walking portion was okay. We walked a lot. I would have liked some more facts and content or to have covered less ground and had more than 5-10min at the few markets we stopped at. Overall I would recommend this experience.

Great Tour, Great Guide, and Great Company - Toured on 12/8/24. Tyler, our guide, was very informative and a pleasure to spend the day with. The story of Ludwig II was very interesting and the castle was unbelievable, truly a must see!! I am always so impressed by the amount of knowledge these guides have and the ease in which they are able to share that knowledge in a fun and educational way. Highly recommend him and the company for your tours.
**it is noted and it was not an issue for me, but there is a lot of walking (no shuttle the day of our tour but there were horse drawn carriage for extra Euro) and a fair amount of stairs. *Noted in the description*
**be patient because there could be a fair amount of time waiting for your time slot to tour the castle. I believe this varies depending on time slot you are given.

Wonderful— absolutely worth the trip - We had a fantastic day! Tyler was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the day! The castle was absolutely stunning and worth the mile walk uphill to get there. We have done a lot of castle tours over the years and the details inside the castle put this one at the top of our list!

Great Value, Full Day Activity - We really enjoyed our tour and would definitely recommend adding this day out into your travel itinerary. Our tour guide Tyler was friendly, informative and jovial. He had all activities timed to perfection and was happy to answer any questions we had. This is a full day out so be prepared and make sure to take cash with you. The optional walking tour at the end is well worth doing.

A beautiful day on board a comfortable bus with a friendly and competent guide with visit to the castle and markets - The day of the Immaculate spent with my son visiting one of the most beautiful castles in the world departing from Monoco. Very comfortable bus. The guide very prepared and nice in English ; very helpful . I interacted with this guy little because unlike my son I do not speak English but I really appreciated his professionalism. Returning under heavy rain he spared no effort and accompanied us on a walking tour of the most beautiful points of Monaco : thank you for making us discover hidden or not properly advertised Christmas markets and thank you very much for the historical notes and anecdotes . With little time available a fantastic synthesis of the historical and cultural cross-section of Munich at 360 degrees. I highly recommend .

Great experience - Tyler was a great guide. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommend. It is important to know how much effort is required to hike to the castle, as well as within the castle. This is not a tour for anyone that cannot hike up a 1 mile steep grade. The wagon helps, but there is still lots of steep terrain and steep stairs within the castle. Well worth the effort, but not for everyone.
