- Starnberger See - A brief stop at Lake Starnberg will leave you in awe of the crystal-clear waters of Bavaria’s second-largest lake. Additionally, we will show you the site where King Ludwig II mysteriously died on June 13, 1886!
- Schloss Neuschwanstein - Neuschwanstein Castle is a dream destination for countless travelers worldwide! No other building in Germany is more frequently visited than Ludwig’s most famous fairytale castle, which began construction in 1869. It was dedicated to Ludwig’s favorite composer, Richard Wagner; the neo-Romanesque facade belies the fact that the progressive king had it built as a high-tech castle.
During the 35-minute guided tour of the castle, all of the king’s completed living rooms will be shown. On the subsequent 15-minute walk to the exit, you will pass through one of the unfinished floors, after which you will see the unusually modern kitchen of the castle as well as the planned bathroom.
Skip-the-Line tickets are already included in the travel price!
- Marienbrücke - Mary’s Bridge (“Marienbrücke”) - THE TOP VIEWPOINT - built in 1866 by King Ludwig II, is one of the most renowned in the world! It can be easily accessed by a shuttle bus (€ 3.00 per person) from the parking lot or via a 40-minute uphill hike. From the bridge, the castle entrance is a 20-minute downhill walk, passing another magnificent viewpoint!
- Poellatschlucht - Enjoy views of the spectacular Pöllat waterfall from the Neuschwanstein Castle Courtyard and from the viewpoint Marienbrücke “Queen Mary’s Bridge” (for departures after 8 a.m., waiting times are possible; in case of snow and ice, the bridge is closed). The Pöllat is a 10 km long wild river that originates not far from Neuschwanstein Castle in the Bavarian Alps.
- Schloss Hohenschwangau - Anticipate Hohenschwangau Castle, the neo-Gothic summer residence of King Maximilian II (Ludwig II’s father), featuring an overwhelming fairytale interior and a spectacular children’s room. For the 45-minute guided tour, a skip-the-line admission is reserved for you. Entrance fees (2025): € 23.50 / adult, € 13.50 / child 7 - 17 years, € 2.50 child under 7 years *
- Plansee - Between Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Castle, there is nearly a 60-minute drive along the most scenic routes. The highlight is the Plansee, surrounded by high Alpine peaks. Depending on traffic conditions or – in winter – in case of avalanche danger, a similarly attractive route on the Bavarian side is taken.
- Schloss Linderhof - In the heart of a remote Alpine valley, Ludwig II constructed his most magnificent and intimate castle. Be captivated by the rooms adorned in French Rococo style during the 30-minute guided tour! Please note that the famous Venus Grotto will be CLOSED UNTIL 2025 due to restoration work!
Skip-the-line ticket per adult (2025): € 10.00
Children under 18 years: free admission
- Oberammergau - Due to the COVID crisis, the renowned Oberammergau Passion Play was postponed for the first time since World War II. Typically, this major event, dating back to the 17th century, occurs every full decade. We are delighted to show you the Passion Theatre with its spectacular “convertible stage” on a guided tour of the town and will also be pleased to explain the enchanting frescos/murals (“Lüftlmalereien”) to you. Take time for a shopping spree in the historic town center - numerous shops offer a wide selection of affordable souvenirs, including the famous Oberammergau wood carvings.
- Ettal Abbey - Founded in the early 14th century, Ettal Monastery is a highlight of this tour due to its Gothic-Baroque church. The Benedictine monks not only run a grammar school but also brew the delicious Ettal monastery beer, which can be enjoyed on-site along with specialties from Bavarian cuisine in one of the numerous inns.
- Upper Bavaria - Between the sights and during the trips to and from your hotel, enjoy the journey in our luxurious minivans with a panoramic glass roof, full leather upholstery, and all conceivable safety features, while receiving exciting information from your friendly and professional tour guide.

- Are you able to walk slightly uphill from the car park to Neuschwanstein castle - approx. 1,5 km/1mile in an hour’s time? If not, we have to calculate additional (waiting-) time for the horse-hybrid carriage or the Shuttle bus (not operating during snow and ice) – Anyway, an approx. 450 meters/0.28 miles uphill walk (up to 15 % slope) or an approx. 500 meters/0.3 miles downhill walk (up to 19 % gradient) from the respective terminal to the entrance of the castle have to be managed in any case! We can accompany you so that you can reach your castle tour in time.
- In Neuschwanstein Castle, a total of 346 stairs (up and down) have to be mastered. If this is too much for you, and if you are a wheelchair user or have a corresponding medical certificate of a walking disability (must be scanned in advance and sent to us), we can request an exclusive lift service only for you with a maximum of one accompanying person, accompanied by the castle staff. The elevator service is at no additional cost, but (due to fire safety regulations) the number of tours with this service is very limited and must be reconfirmed by the castle authority. If you are mobile restricted, please inform us directly when booking under “Special Requirements” so that we can take any necessary measures.
- To Hohenschwangau Castle there is a carriage (not in the winter season) almost from door to door. You have to climb stairs to the 3rd floor and back (no elevator).
- Linderhof Palace is quite easy to reach from the parking lot on a relatively flat route: The castle is a 15-minute walk, in the castle itself only the stairs to the first floor have to be mastered.
- Each castle can also be reached with prams, but during the castle tour neither they nor other larger pieces of luggage (e.g. cranes, larger backpacks) are allowed.
