Additional Information
You will be accompanied by one of our Munich guides who are well-versed in the city’s history as you explore the city’s vibrant past. Wander through the Neues Rathaus in Neo-Gothic style, the Nymphenburg Palace fashioned in Baroque and historical landmarks associated with the rise and fall of Hitler and the Third Reich of Germany, such as the building where Hitler first became a member of the Nazi party and the former headquarters of the Gestapo.
After booking, within 24 hours, you’ll be getting a quick questionnaire about your likes and personality traits. Based on your input, a likeminded guide will be chosen who then will contact you directly to create an itinerary that best suits your interests and helps you uncover the city’s unique charm. A time and place for meeting will also be agreed upon. Remember, your itinerary is open to changes. So, you’re free to alter it during the tour, based on what catches your interest.

City surfing and garden walk - Of course all the historical sites, but watching the surfers then walking in the park was an unexpected delight.

Ultimate guide in Munich! - Stefan is the ultimate guide in Munich!
We absolutely recommend him in the event you choose this tour. His knowledge of architecture and history is just fantastic. Very patient with our group of Seniors. Good sense of humor and just very likable as a person. Giving him more than 5 stars!!!

Highly recommended - What a great time we had with Camilla, our guide for the afternoon. Camilla was not only very friendly and a great conversationalist, but also very knowledgeable about the city. She brought the city to life with interesting facts about various points of interest that only a local would know. The tour was thorough and well paced. Highly recommended.

Fantastic - It was a really good experience, Camilla was great, she shared some facts we did not know which I enjoyed knowing about. We walked a lot! Four hrs was a good amount of time to know and see more of the city.

Phenomenal English, speaking walking tour of Munich - Spending the day with Nino was well worth it. She had incredible knowledge on the history of Munich in Germany, and was very pleasant throughout the entire trip. I would highly recommend her. She speaks very fluent English, and completely understood all of our questions.

Wonderful 2 hour history tour! - Our guide, Paola, was spectacular! She personalized our tour based on our interest in churches and history and was patient as I took so many photos. She was very knowledgeable with our questions and is very proficient in American English. Thank you for a most enjoyable experience!

No SHOW Tour Guide- NO COMMUNICATION - We were confirmed for a private Munich History tour at 2pm. We showed up at the meeting place and NO Tour guide. Called Viator and she said guide cancelled. Seriously they had my phone number as well as my email absolutely no communication! This was our only day in Munich if we were notified earlier in the day we could have made other sight seeing plans.

Do NOT waste your money. Awful company to deal with. - Absolute waste of money! Your operator made contact within last 24 hours (therefore we couldn’t get refund) and changed pick up point. Actual tour operator is not who you book with. Guide that was appointed to us communicated with us via email not through app. Created issues as we don’t use email unless on wifi. Last contact to us was at 10:55pm at night via email with contradictory information of the tour meeting point at 8am next day. We had many phone calls between the “booking company” and tried to cancel. Just shy of $1000 for 4 of us. No refund offered despite us asking.
Our boys went on the 4 hour tour. Tour guide was constantly arrogant and rude to them about us not going. Also wound up the tour 20 minutes prior to 4 hours.
Also we had completed survey of what we’d wanted to see and your was NOT tailored to this.
Last night we spoke to booking company again with guarantee they’d get back to us ASAP to resolve our disappointment - but have never heard back.
Waste of time, money and extremely awful business to deal with.
Buy a map and do it yourself.
Boys said they learnt more on the hop on hop off bus
