Rothenburg is a must see - Debbie and Freddy were fantastic! Our tour guide Debbie was very enthusiastic, easy to understand and entertaining. It is a long day of travel but well worth it to see Rothenburg. The bus is a double decker - very comfortable. Highly recommend

Great day be prepared for a long journey home - A good day Castle tour was great Loved Rothenburg could have had longer to walk around Don’t think there is a need to do a 20 minute chat and walk before we could have free time people were just anxious to have time for themselves It’s a long way home with a three hour bus ride But even so well worth a visit

Good tour worth the time in transit - Had a choice between a guided tour via bus, or an on-your-own excursion from München by train, and decided to go with tour. Guide (Debbie) was very informative and had an enjoyable vibe. Our aim was to learn more rural German history and culture and we feel like the mission was accomplished. The Harburg castle visit was bonus. Was a long day of travel but felt worth it.

Highlight of my trip! - Truly a perfect day! I learned so much at Harburg Castle. So fascinating! The guide was a joy. And Rothenburg is like a fairy tale. I could spend days there. For me, the highlight was the craftsmen’s house - to get to go inside and see the rooms as they really were - I loved it!

Good tour, lots of drive time - It was a good tour. The castle was very interesting and we loved the town of Rothenburg. The only downside was the amount of driving, it’s necessary but a lot of time on a bus.

Good trip - The drive was very long . The castle is very basic and avoidable . Ruthemberg is a touristy village , but the houses are beautiful. It was very crowded though.

Nice tour, needs more allocated time - Nice tour, Harbour castle was very pretty and the tour was interesting. Could have used more time to explore more of Rothberg, the guide was in a hurry and didn't quite wait for everyone to hear everything.

Don’t go on a Sunday - Really cute town and definitely worth a visit. But don’t go on a Sunday. I think that the tour really needs to let people know that only food stores are open on Sunday, no shops. At all! The tour guide was not very informative and didn’t even realize that the stores were closed. I was literally standing with him on the cobblestone street asking what time the stores would open. He replied “they are all open. That’s how they make their money” Not a single store was open. The tour guide also gave us a coupon to a famous Christmas store. Also not open. We took a tour also booked through TripAdvisor two days later with a different tour guide and she was fantastic. Gave us tons of information about Germany and Bavaria. It was such a different experience.
