City of Mozart - Salzburg, a small big city (laughs). Salzburg is a very beautiful, clean and organized city. It has only 157,000 inhabitants, however, it can concentrate immense points of interest, from medieval fortresses, churches and streets to iconic places of historical films such as Music in the Heart and the acclaimed Mozart. For Mozart the house called Mozart Birthday's Place is the one worth it, unlike Mozart's Residence. The cemetery where the catacombs are also located is very beautiful as well as you can have very good views of the city! The tour from Munich was well done, the guide Elisabeth was very friendly and humorous, explained very well the points of interest of the city, put a good soundtrack and gave very good recommendations. It is necessary to optimize the weather very well and choose 3 attractions to visit as there is no time for more! To emphasize that they can not wait for delays in Salzburg as the city has very restricted rules for tourism and parking! You should taste the Mozart chocolates (they are more expensive and delicious) as well as the local cake that you buy at a hotel near the bus stop, the Sacher.

Fabulous - We were on our honeymoon or familymoon as we called it, as our children came along. This trip was well worth it and we would recommend it to anyone. Elisabeth our tour guide was amazing. Such a lovely lady and the information she can recall is second to none. The driver Hebrew, (apologies if I have got that wrong) is also a great guy and a really good driver. Salzburg itself is beautiful and great for anyone whether your a 'sound of music' fan or not. We enjoyed it that much we intend on going back to Salzburg for a long weekend. If it was possible to give Elisabeth 10 stars, we would.

Wonderful Experience - Great experience. Definitely do the boat ride (if weather permits) in the Lake District. Take a little time to “get lost” in Salzburg and soak in the mountain views and charming small streets with colorful buildings. Be prepared to arrive back around 19:00. Loved the opportunity to get out of Munich for the day.

Beautiful views - Didn't realize it was the Catholic Festival in Salzburg when I booked the tour. The city center was much busier than normal. Would love to go back when it's not a festival. Our tour guide Melanie was great. She gave us a lot of information on the bus ride but also allowed for some quiet time to rest. Had about 2-2.5 hours in Salzburg before the bus to Wolfgangsee. (Be aware that although it says the boat is optional - it is not). There was about 20 min of "free" time before waiting for the boats, which were late, so that cut into any free time we would have had at the end. The boat ride, however, was amazing. The views are stunning and the water is so clean and beautiful. Definitely think more time should be given for this tour.

Eh, could pass on this one. - Tour was ok. Our guide talked way too much and people on the bus were commenting on it. She pretty much talked the entire bus ride. She was very nice but it was too much. She didn’t even have time to give drinks out because she talked so much and said she didn’t have time. We were fortunate that there was a Catholic festival going on. The Mozart museum is a must but not enough time to visit the castle on the hill or much else. If the festival hadn’t been going on I would say it wasn’t worth it. It was also a group of 67 which is way too much for one tour guide.
