Highlights
  • Theresienwiese - All of the excursion destinations mentioned here are carefully selected recommendations. Since this is an exclusive tour, you can always add your own suggestions; We are also happy to adapt to your wishes regarding the length of stay at the individual stops!

Now you can look forward to an eventful, informative and, above all, excursion in our luxurious new minivans - with our friendly and professional tour guide at your side, you will be in the best of hands right from the start!

…after we drive past the Theresienwiese - the annual location of the largest folk festival in the world: the Oktoberfest - we leave Munich and first drive south on the motorway…

  • Zugspitze - Enjoy an unforgettable day and an overwhelming 360° panorama on Germany’s highest mountain. Even the ride on the ultra-modern cable car is a unique experience!

Alternatively and/or for the return journey you can take the cog railway. You can use the glacier cable car between the mountain station of the cog railway and the summit as often as you like.

In the summer months, depending on the snow conditions, you can rent toboggans (“Zipfelbobs”) from the ‘Sonnalpin’ restaurant (subject to availability).
There or in the highest beer garden in Germany or in one of the other numerous restaurants on the Zugspitze you can enjoy a variety of meals to suit every taste.

  • Eibsee - Located at the foot of the majestic Zugspitze, the Eibsee is one of the most beautiful Alpine lakes. Take a boat trip (in summer), a short walk to the top photo spot Eibseebrücke or hike with us around in around 75 minutes and marvel at the overwhelming mountain panorama and the numerous islands and islets!
  • Hohenschwangau - After another hour of driving through the beautiful Upper Bavarian landscape, we approach the Alps and can see the towers of Neuschwanstein at an altitude of around 1000m. We soon reach the small village of Hohenschwangau, which is the starting point to Neuschwanstein Castle (and also Hohenschwangau Castle). Your guide will provide you with skip-the-line tickets to Neuschwanstein Castle and a very detailed map of the area.
  • Schloss Neuschwanstein - Neuschwanstein Castle remained unfinished due to the early and mysterious death of its builder, King Ludwig II of Bavaria, and is certainly one of the most visited sights in Germany for this reason.

Because of the Corona crisis, tours of the castle have been reduced from 58 to 35 people, and therefore demand far exceeds supply. However, as a participant in our excursion, you will always receive tickets for the castle tour without any waiting times!

Your tour guide will also ensure that you are at the castle in time for the start of the tour.

  • Marienbrücke - THE top viewing point at Neuschwanstein Castle - and one of the most famous in the world! The steel Marienbrücke was built in 1866 under Ludwig II - three years before construction of Neuschwanstein Castle began. * Due to its popularity, waiting times for access are to be expected - without delays you can visit a similarly spectacular viewpoint - we will show you how to reach it without any problems! Both viewing points are not accessible in snow and ice.
  • Oberammergau - Due to the Corona crisis, the famous Oberammergau Passion Play had to be postponed for the first time since World War II. The major event, which always takes place on the full decade, could therefore only take place in 2022.

We would be happy to show you the Passion Theater and its spectacular “convertible stage” on a guided tour of the town and would also be happy to explain the enchanting Lüftl paintings to you.

Take your time for a shopping spree in the historic town center - numerous shops offer a large selection of inexpensive souvenirs, including the famous Oberammergau wood carvings.

  • Starnberger See - Depending on where the Neuschwanstein tour begins, we pass Lake Starnberg on the way there or back and can see the place where King Ludwig II mysteriously died on June 13, 1886.

Travel in style in the latest luxury vans featuring panoramic glass roofs and full leather interiors, while your guide provides engaging commentary exclusively for you and your group.

NEUSCHWANSTEIN, constructed by King Ludwig II, captivates with its enchanting beauty and served as the inspiration for Walt Disney’s Cinderella castles.

The Zugspitze, a mountain of superlatives, offers a unique 360° panorama with stunning views of countless Alpine peaks, along with fun and adventure in the eternal ice!

With two different tour lengths available, you can either explore more sights or enjoy extra time at your favorite spots!

  • Can you walk the slightly uphill asphalt path from the car park to Neuschwanstein Castle - approx. 1.5 km within an hour? If not, an additional (waiting) time requirement for the horse-drawn hybrid carriage or the shuttle bus must be taken into account. In any case, you still have to walk about 450 meters (with a gradient of up to 15%) or around 500m (with a gradient of up to 19%) from the respective final stop to the castle entrance. The shuttle bus does not run during snow and ice. We would be happy to accompany you so that you can reach your tour on time.
  • There are a total of 346 stairs (up and down) to climb in Neuschwanstein Castle. If this is too much for you, and if you have a corresponding medical certificate stating that you are unable to walk or have limited mobility, etc. (must be scanned and sent to us in advance), we can arrange an exclusive lift service just for you with a maximum of one companion, accompanied by Castle staff, book. The elevator service is at no additional cost, but (due to fire regulations) the number of tours with this service is very limited and must be reconfirmed by the castle authorities.
  • Neuschwanstein Castle can also be reached with strollers, but neither they nor other larger items of luggage (e.g. baby carriages, larger backpacks) are allowed during the castle tour.
  • If you plan to spend a longer period of time outdoors on the Zugspitze, please remember to wear suitable clothing (temperature differences of 20°C/68°F between mountain and valley are not uncommon!). For those who would like to try out the sleds, we recommend a change of clothing. Please also remember sunglasses and sun cream!
