September misty hiking - We booked our hike as a part of our stay in Munnar, it was September and days were rainy. We were happy the hike was not canceled and we went. As it was rainy, the road was slipery. Our guide was carefull and he was showing us the road patiently. I really enjoyed his enthusiasm for the local area and sharing details of what locals do, like playing with flowers when little. As well as explaining us more about the life of tea and how it is like to be working in Munnar. The food was yummy as well. We saw a nice view even, it was misty due to the weather. Just dress up properly because of leeches, they are not dangerous but it is not comfortable to have them on your skin.

Great! - A fairly easy hike in the middle of the tea fields. We learn a lot from Samy, our Guide, about tea but about many other things. I did this hike on a very cloudy day, also, the view of the surroundings was not there but I loved this walk!

Nice Experience - I went with my friends and we were fortunate to see a hunch of elephants in the trek. It is a moderate level trek and ascending was easy but descending took some time because there was no defined path to descend for approximately 1km.

An enriching trek in Munnar with expert guidance and perfect organization. - I recently went on a half-day trek in Munnar with some friends, and it was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Praveen, was both punctual and well-organized. Everything ran smoothly, with timely breaks for water and snacks provided along the way. Praveen's insights were particularly memorable. He took the time to explain various plants we encountered, including different types of tea plants and their medicinal uses. His knowledge really enhanced the trek, making it both enjoyable and informative. If you're considering a trek in Munnar, I definitely recommend it!

We did another trip - We really spontaneously called to book a tour through the tee plantage. 20 Minutes later Sammy, our guide picked us up at the bus station in Munnar and we went to the tea plantage. On the way he stopped to show us an elephant on a hill (we saw it miles away but still). He explained a lot, answered all our questions and even took photos from us which he send us afterwards. Afterwards we drove to the tea factory to get a tour and have a tea tasting there. Unfortunately the factory was closed due to the independence day (15.08) and we only could have the tea tasting. Sammy was really engaged and took us to the tea museum and we had a tour there. Sammy then drove us back to the bus station. We payed 1200 Rupies each which we think was a really good price for the whole trip.

Best way to understand Munnar - Really a great 6 hour hike. Great variety of environments, all interesting, jungle part really impressive (bear sighting!), and lots of signs of animal activity everywhere (elephant tracks). Samy the guide is fantastic, knows a lot whether it's about the tea plantations or the environment and medicinal plants. The taste of fresh wild cardamon... Highly recommend this hike, there's no better way to experience and understand the region, including village life and the links with the tea industry.

Great exposure to Munnar - The half day trek was great for its breadth of places seen (tea fields, juggles, village) and also many fascinating things learned from the guide Samy who was very friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable. Really enjoyed it all

Very nice trekking & super knowledgeable guide - Wonderful experience. We went for an early morning hike to top of Lakshi hills covered 6 mountains. Praveen was our guide. He is very knowledgeable and adopted the route to make it convenient for our group of 4. We booked tours through WhatsUp for 2days, owner sakthi was so kind understanding our need as it was heavy rain in munnar, we demand for poncho he arranged it for us next morning which was so helpfull during hiking ,highly recommend this team for tours in munnar
