Additional Information

Perga or Perge, an ancient city from Anatolia is now situated in the modern country of Turkey and previously was the capital of Pamphylia Secunda. Its current location is within Antalya’s province, on the southwestern part of Turkey’s Mediterranean coast.

Aspendos or Aspendus, an ancient city known for its Greco-Roman influence, is located in the Antalya province of Turkey. The site can be found 7 kilometres to the northeast of Serik’s city center.

Side is a tourist town on the southern coast of the Mediterranean in Turkey. A city marked by its ancient port, it’s famous for its long beaches and Greco-Roman ruins. The city center houses the 2nd-century Antique Theater that could accommodate up to 15,000. Near the harbor are the white marble columns of the Hellenistic Temple of Athena. There are other sites scattered across the city, with discoveries stored at the Side Museum, within a rejuvenated Roman bath complex.

The Manavgat Waterfall, situated along the Manavgat River, is located near the city of Side, 3 km to the north of Manavgat, Turkey. The waterfall’s charm lies in its high volume of flow across a vast area, falling from a minimal height, providing the best views from elevated spots.

Amazing experience - We booked the Perge, Aspendos, Side tour. The owner is very nice, the tour was very reasonably priced and included all the entrance fees. Our guide Yacub was very knowledgeable and the tour was a good mix of information and alone time to walk around the sites. My only recommendation would be to skip the waterfall (it was underwhelming) and use that time on the historical sites instead. The owner is very helpful and even offered to help book us a cab to the airport

Good tour, well managed - One of the nicest tours I have been on. Lovely guide lady (sorry dont know correct spelling of her name)- she was a wonderful guide, giving us all the right amount of information and giving adequate time to roam around. She was very interactive, made sure everyone was taken care of. Would recommend tour to history buffs in antalya.

Good tour, professional guide - Cigil was a great tour guide. Everything was well organized and we always knew what to expect. She also provided a lot of information about each site as well as Turkish history and culture. The Roman sites were amazing to see and lunch was good as well.

Best guide for learning the history - Our guide Cigil was attentive and highly knowledgeable. You can tell she is proud and passionate about her job, as well as the history of Antayla. Cigil is fluent in English and Turkish, and answered many of our questions, and gave me background information I did not get from my two previous tours this week. Our tour started from 8am pick up, and we got dropped off to our hotel around 6pm. Throughout the whole day, I felt well taken care of. We are an English speaking couple from Canada and we had a terrific time learning all about Turkey from Cigil.

10/10 recommend - Cigil and Mehmet took us around to the Perge, Manavgat falls, Side and Apollo temple. The journey was comfortable and we had plenty of time to see the sights and take pictures. Mehmet drove safely and Cigil was amazing. She gave us lots of information and was very approachable. The journey was very comfortable and Cigil and Mehmet were amazing. Would definitely recommend booking with Solomous travel.

Really recommended tour!! ⁇ - Really recommended tour. If you didn't listen to the explanation, you could just learn more about the things you might have missed, you could explain the historical background and everything in English that ordinary Koreans can understand enough, and you could give a lot of interesting explanations, such as the middle-to-middle Turkish culture, customs and language. Despite the unprepared journey, I learned a lot from this tour. Thanks so much to the guide who explained passionately without losing a smile throughout the tour, even though the weather is hot at 40 degrees, and I recommend this tour! Please note, I provided you with a bottle of cold water before the start of the tour, and the car was so clean and the rider's driving was softened that we moved comfortably.
