- Rio Preguicas - Departure from Barreirinhas in a 4x4 vehicle that will transport us to a ferry crossing over the river, providing entry to the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (PNLM). The park spans roughly 155,000 hectares. The journey along the trail typically takes about 1 hour.
- Lagoa Bonita e Lagoa Azul - At the edge of the dunes, there are designated areas for vehicle parking. Accompanied by a guide, we’ll begin a 20-meter ascent to reach Lagoa Bonita, which marks the start of our excursion. Once you’ve ascended, any fatigue will dissipate as you’re greeted by the stunning vista. Enjoy leisure time for sunbathing and swimming in the lagoon.

Barreirinhas departure in 4 × 4 vehicle that will take us to one of the ferries to cross the river
Sloths that gives access to the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (PNLM), the park has
approximately 155 thousand hectares. The path of the trail lasts on average 01h, longer than the
Lagoa Azul Circuit, but no less fantastic. In front of the dunes there are support points where the cars
will be parked, along with guide we will start a climb of 80m to have access to Lagoa Bonita,
at the very beginning of the walk. After this climb your tiredness will no longer exist, because you will be impressed
with such beauty. Free time for sunbathing and lagoon.

Excellent, peaceful tour of the dunes & lagoons! - Incredible tour of the lagoons for a great price! Not sure if it's because of the current global situation (probably) or just the time of day we had our tour (possibly), but there was barely ANYBODY around - it was like we were in a deserted, well, desert hahaha which was absolutely great especially since we were gearing up for a crowd fest in Rio later that week. Got to spend as much time as we wanted hiking and swimming uninterrupted, and our tour guide Rafa was incredibly skilled at pointing out the most minute details in the park... everything from little frogs and tadpoles in the lagoons, to wildflowers on the lagoon banks to fulgurites (lightning strikes in the sand) - - would definitely recommend this tour to anybody planning to visit Sao Luis!

We’ll worth the bumpy ride! - Very bumpy ride, but the destination was second to none and well worth the cost and the discomfort!

Amazing park - The park was amazing. However, I ordered an English tour and I got nothing. The tour guide didn’t speak one word of English. I just followed the group wherever they went and wherever they stopped or when they got in the water. I got into the water like monkeys see Monkeys do.
