Additional Information

Join us for a 2-Hour Supervised Segway Excursion at one of the most breathtaking wetland and wildlife conservations, Huntington Beach State Park, located in Myrtle Beach. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the park’s Environmental Education Center due to the opportunity to observe Loggerhead Turtles and other endangered animal species up close. The freshwater lake that is located on the causeway of the park is a certain spot to sight Alligators sunbathing, a diversity of bird species, and potentially even a mink.

Famed for its untouched beauty, Huntington Beach State Park once served as the winter abode of Anna Hyatt and Archer Huntington, a sculptor and philanthropist, who bequeathed the park and nearby Brookgreen Gardens as part of their heritage. Be sure to reserve sufficient hours of your day to also tour Atalaya, the picturesque, Moorish-style castle that served as their home and sculpture workshops. Our tour lasts roughly around two hours inclusive of training, leaving you with ample time to enjoy and unwind on the beach before or after your visit.

  • We have the ability to transport necessary items i.e. cameras, phones, drinks, etc. These can be carried in the Segway bag on each unit.
  • Please note there is an entry fee to the State Park and is payable at the main gate. This fee goes to the park authority and is not part of our fee.
  • Patrons need to arrive 30 minutes before tour time. Give an extra 15-20 minutes from what GPS says.

Give this a try! You will love it! - very fun and memorable. First time; would go again. Easy to larn. The guide was a little gruff so several of us did not tip him extra. The venue was great and glad to have been able to see this park.. You do have to purchase park entrance in addition to purchasing the segway tour.

Fun morning and nice way to see the park and some wildlife - My friend and I joined the tour to see a bit of the park and have some fun. The guide was clear and patient in teaching us how to ride (our first time) and kept the group moving at a nice pace. Our booking coincided with a kite competition at the park - so we stayed a little longer and enjoyed watching the contestants. Definitely would recommend for any age!

I felt that the tour... - I felt that the tour guide was very irritable was not patient with any of us and when we ask questions got very snippy and didn’t really want to respond to any questions. Just wanted to say his spiel and be done and move onto the next. He also gave us a very short lesson and then treated us like we needed to be experts. Was very frustrated with us when we parked our car very frustrated with us asking questions again got frustrated with the people that needed to go back. He told her she couldn’t wait till 530 was over and our tour had just begun..
