An Awesome Experience - Any trip to Oman without an excursion into the desert and surrounding nature is incomplete. Hence I booked a full day tour with Oman Sharing Tours with the hope to capture in one day what would take me several days on my own and without expert guidance. I could not be happier with the tour. Muneer is one of the best tour guides I've ever had the pleasure of travelling with. He was fluent in English, Arabic and Hindi (the three languages that we speak as a couple!) and was very knowledgeable about every area we went to. The tour is private and he was very kind and patient in customising the tour to fit our needs and goals. The places we went to were beautiful and each experience had its own charm; from visiting a small local market, to having coffee in a bedouin's house, to camel riding, to climbing desert dunes, to Wadi Bani Khalid, to a traditional Omani lunch. If you want an expert tour guide, a comfortable car and a taste of Omani nature and you're prepared for the travel times, this is absolutely worth doing!

Wadi Bani Khaled with Great Guide Khalil! - It was a very nicely paced day with guide Khalil. June is one of the hottest times of the year, so better to wait till cooler months if you can. But we made the most of our schedule. Khalil is a friendly guide, safe driver, informative, easy-going and lets you go your own pace. You can adjust your schedule throughout the day on this private tour and Wadi Bani Khaled is absolutely beautiful! The Wahiba sands was also a great site to see. You need 4 wheel drive and a skilled driver- thank you again Khalil! It was a wonderful day where Khalil shared his cooking with us which was delicious! A wonderful day that we will never forget.

Oman - Natural beauty! 😍 - Visit Oman to experience the beauty of the country and it's countrymen. Booked our tour to the desert with Oman Landscape Tours and Khalid took us on a journey of sand and sunshine. The long travel was covered with anecdotes from history, traditions and culture of Oman. Wadi Bani Khalid was a sight to behold! Wading in the emerald waters was a relief on the hot summer day. Quench your thirst with the delicious lime and mint juice. Once ready, move to experience the Bedouin life, enter their home, enjoy their hospitality and craftsmanship. Ride the camels before dune bashing. Leave your footprints on the sands of time! Kudos to Khalid for his extra care, to stop in the heat, get us some locally sourced fresh dates to get us the flavor of Oman.

Best day at Wahiba Sands & Wadi Bani Khalid with Muneer! - Today we visited Wahiba Sands and Wadi Bani Khalid with Maneer as our tour guide for the third time, and it was an unforgettable experience! Maneer’s warm and friendly demeanor made us feel very welcome and relaxed. He is incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating details about the Bedouin culture as we visited a traditional tent and rode camels across the desert. The highlight of our day was definitely the visit to Wadi Bani Khalid, where Maneer led us to the most beautiful swimming spots. His easy-going nature made us feel very comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Maneer to help make our adventure both enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommended!
