Highlights
- Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque - This will be a photo stop from the outside only. Our Muscat City Tour begins at the Grand Mosque, one of the world’s largest mosques, open from Saturday to Thursday between 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. It is closed on Fridays. Here, you can marvel at the second-largest handmade carpet globally and the renowned chandelier in the main prayer hall. After leaving the mosque,
- Mohammed Al Ameen Mosque - This will also be a photo stop from the outside only. This relatively new mosque is situated slightly above the city, offering stunning views of the city with the Hajar Mountains in the background.
- Royal Opera House - We will then drive by the Opera House, where you can either visit inside or take a photo stop. The Royal Opera House Muscat is Oman’s leading venue for musical arts and culture, located in the Shati Al-Qurm district on Sultan Qaboos Street.
- Qurum Beach - Next, we will continue driving along the beautiful beach road of Shatti Qurum.
- Mutrah Souq - From here, we will walk along the corniche to the famous Mutrah Souq, a vibrant market with numerous small alleyways and passages filled with a variety of souvenirs, antiques, and charming treasures.
- Al Alam Palace - Our next stop is the magnificent Al Alam Palace in old Muscat, the official palace of His Majesty Royal Highness Sultan Qaboos.
- Al Jalali Fort - It is flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese forts Mirani & Jalali. The tour concludes here, and you can request to be dropped off anywhere in Muscat.

Great insight into a country that I did not know much about. - Much covered in tour….was to go for 4 hours but mine went for 5 hours … very generous. If you have only a short time in Muscat I highly recommend going on this tour & using this company. Beautiful montains and a wonderful wadi - Our adventure was not just about the destinations but also the exhilarating journey between them. 4 hours Muscat City Tour - My half-day tour in Muscat City was absolutely splendid, creating unforgettable memories in just four short hours. lovely way to spend a short time - I came from the cruise ship and we had a short stop in Oman. Definitely the most beautiful Grand mosque I have seen in Oman. Must visit the city of Muscat if you have a short time. We had a chance to explore from the Port, Muttrah souq, corniche and the opera house. It’s a lovely day.

Fantastic views - We start the trip at early morning ,our guide he arrived on time in our hotel to take us and to drive us from the placeswe had that day ,till we finished our trip and he dropped us back to the hotel safely .All was well organized and worth the best .Thanks star tours.
