• Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque - At around 8:30 AM, the tour will commence through the beautiful city of Muscat, starting with a visit to the grand mosque. There will be a photo stop outside, or for those wishing to enter, the entrance fee is 8 OMR or 21 USD. The grand mosque is home to one of the largest single-piece handmade Iranian carpets in the world, weighing an impressive 21 tons and accommodating up to 20,000 worshippers.

(Dress code for the grand mosque: Men and women must wear long sleeves and long pants, and ladies must cover their hair.)

• Royal Opera House - The tour will proceed through the ministries and the Royal Opera House area, a leading arts and culture organization in the Sultanate of Oman. The Opera House aims to be a center of excellence in global cultural engagement.
• Qurum Beach - Next, there will be a visit to Qurum Beach for a photo stop, where participants can enjoy Omani bread with honey and karak tea.
• Mutrah Souq - The journey continues to Muttrah Souq, one of the oldest marketplaces in Oman, dating back two hundred years, offering a variety of souvenirs.
• Al Alam Palace - A visit to Al Alam Palace, the official residence of His Majesty, is included.
• Oman - The itinerary includes a photo stop at the two Portuguese forts, Al Jalali and Al Mirani, which are remarkable for touring and exploring, offering numerous photo opportunities. The tour will conclude with a stop at the parliament for a photo opportunity, capturing some of the best memories in Muscat.

We’ll guide you through the stunning city of Muscat, starting with a visit to the magnificent mosque, showcasing one of the largest single-piece handmade Iranian carpets in the world and having the capacity to host up to 20,000 worshippers.

Next, we’ll take a tour around the government buildings and the Royal Opera House vicinity, a premier institution for arts and culture in Oman. The Opera House aims to excel as a hub for global cultural interaction. We’ll then stop at Qurum Beach for photos and sample the local Omani bread complemented with honey and karak tea.

The journey continues at Muttrah Souk, a marketplace where you can find varied keepsakes. It’s one of Oman’s oldest markets. After that, we’ll provide a glimpse of the Al Alam palace, the official residence of His Majesty.

The tour culminates with a visit to the picturesque Portuguese forts of Al Jalali and Al Mirani, which also make for a wonderful photo opportunity.

• Every Friday the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and the Royal opera House are both closed, so it will be a photo stop only.
