This experience is a private tour (pick up and drop off included) with a local Omani guide managed by an official tour company to discover Muscat City. The tour starts at the largest mosque in Oman (capacity 20,000 people), which was opened in 2001. The mosque is a unique combination of Islamic design from around the world and Omani architecture. Then you will continue to the Royal Opera House, which was opened in 2011 by the order of Sultan Qaboos. After that, you will have a short stopover at Al-Qurm Beach. The tour continues to Muttrah Souq, a traditional Arab market housed under modern timber roofing. Next, visit Bait Al Zubair Museum to learn more about Oman’s history, social life, traditions, and customs, old civilization, and many different collections from the past. Finally, you will have a photo stop on top of old Muscat City, Alam Palace, and two ancient Portuguese forts.

- On Friday, Sultan Qaboos Mosque and some attractions will be closed to visitors. We will do our best to make different visits to Muscat Viewpoint to recover your trip duration.
- Visiting time of the Sultan Qaboos Mosque from 8 am to 11 am. There are different times to start the tour. If you want to make a night city tour you will choose at 3 pm.
- On the night city tour, you will visit most of the places from outside for photo stops and you will spend more time in the Mutrrah Souq.
