- Nizwa Fort Oman - We depart Muscat to Nizwa, approximately 8:30 AM, the old capital of Oman. We pay a visit to the famous Nizwa Fortress. Today, the fort is a museum that showcases the history of the fort and surrounding area. Walking through the fortress you get to see amazing views of the ancient town and the nearby mountains. This impressive fortress was a base used in the military to hold off the hardest attacks and sieges.
- Nizwa Souk - Next to the fortress is the large Nizwa Souq, a local marketplace that offers a variety of goods including jewelry, pottery, fish, and meats.
- Al Hamra - After, we take off to Al Hamra to visit the old village where we get to experience how the locals create a lifestyle in the older times.
- Misfah al Abriyyin - After this quick tour, we move on to Misfah al Abryeen, a truly pristine village that nestles at the base of Jebel Shams. Here you will get to see the large Falaj water system that supplies water to the nearby vegetation. There are numerous marked footpaths throughout the village that is recommended to take your time and explore. Late afternoon, we head back to Muscat, Oman.

Nizra - Al Hamra old village tour - We were really impressed with our tour today and we all really enjoyed the sights we saw.
Our driver/tour guide Said Alkiyumi was excellent - very friendly/informative and helpful.
Highly recommend this tour!

What a memorable trip - My mum and I spent three incredible days with our tour guide Ali and learned that saying goodbyes was much harder than we expected! :) Ali looked after us really well every day and treated us with the most delicious Karak chai on the way to all different beautiful places. We started with a Muscat tour, continued with the Wadi Bani Khalid and Wahiba Sands the next day and finished our three-day experience with Nizwa and Misfat Al Abriyeen tour. The tours were truly fascinating, everything was incredibly well-planned, communication was very smooth from the beginning: starting from scheduling the trips with the fantastic assistance of Roda and finishing with Ali constantly keeping in touch with us, always being so accommodating and hospitable throughout the whole time. We cannot thank you enough for such a warm welcome to Oman and we know we will be back inshAllah! شكرا جزيلا and see you soon Ali!

Highly recommend, had an amazing time! - We had an amazing time, the guide Khalil was very knowledgeable on every stop we went to, he was friendly, flexible and accommodating.
We didn’t feel rushed at all, there was plenty of time to see everything, there were opportunities to try local food, take beautiful photos and buy various items at the souq (without being hassled which was nice). This tour is definitely worth the price and I would book another tour in the future, especially if Khalil was the guide - thank you for a great trip 😊

Amazing village - Walking around the village of Misfath Al arbiyeen was amazing there's a lot of Palm trees around the area. The local people leaving there are so kind. Our guide was patient and friendly.

Amazing! - We spent the day with our guide Said, it was a wonderful day, he introduced us to delicious Omani sweets, we ate the best dates of our lives.
The visit of the Nizwa fort was very interesting, Said told us a lot of stories.
Then we went to the village of Misfah, where we could discover the Falaj, it was beautiful!
We had a great day thanks to Said!

A Day Tour That Was Full of Adventure at Misfah Old House, Al Abryeen, and Al Hamra Old Village, Nizwa - Today’s tour is quite remarkable to be in a place called Misfah Old House in Al Abryeen where his Highness Prince Charles paid a visit way back 5th Nov. 2016. The Misfah Old House strong foundation stand still there for thousands of years ago. Surrounded by a vast of green plants, date trees, high rocky mountain ranges and natural, fresh, cold spring water for irrigation and drinking purposes.
We went too to one of the old villages in Nizwa, the Al Hamra Old Village. You will see a picture of old houses and village in general how it was destroyed by natural forces as the years go by.
Before reaching our two destination, Sunshine Tours brought us for a short stop, overlooking below the Fanja farm and village that has variety of date trees. Thank you, Sunshine Tours for the tour and guiding us with Mr. Said as our tour guide who knows how to speak English proficiently and being professional. Thank you for driving us safely. We had a great day today and looking forward for another day tour tomorrow. God bless Sunshine Tours and Oman.🇴🇲❤️

Warm hearted locals, beautiful outdoors. Delicious food. Amazing MrAhmed our tour brother. - We all were so happy to have MrAhmed as our tour guide , he was like a family member driving across Oman. Very experienced and very patient very kind and very concerning.

Al Hamra and Misfah Al Arbiyeen - Visiting three places in one day is more than enough with us we have time for each places to enjoy and not to be in hurry, Al hamra village is a 400 years old it's worth it to visit. It was breath taking views. Mr. Ahmed our guide he is so kind and helpful guide. I highly recommend him. Thank you and looking forward for the next trip again.
