Full day Muscat tour - Oman has a lot to offer! Rich in culture and beautiful city! Nasr was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable. Pretty laid back tour, no pressure and got to spend more time in places, not always on a rush! That was good. A must do when in Muscat! Highly recommend Nasr!

Muscat City Tour - Unfortunately, this was our last day trip with Khalid Alraqadi and Youssef, the Muscat City Tour. We started our tour at the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, where we received a free English translated Quran and enjoyed a cup of ginger tea. Afterward, we visited another mosque that was not originally on our itinerary. It was much smaller but had a unique charm, a beautiful mosque covered entirely in white. The Royal Opera House was our next stop. Breathtakingly beautiful! For a building that is less than 20 years old, it felt like stepping back in time. Although we could not see the main hall fully lit due to an evening performance, Khalid’s fascinating explanations about the construction and mechanisms of the venue were more than enough to impress us. After that, we headed to the vibrant Mutrah Souq. Khalid and Youssef guided us to some of the best shops with the best prices and helped us find everything we were looking for. We left with some wonderful souvenirs. At last, after a lunch stop in the old town, we ended our day at the National Museum. On our way back, we sang Arabic songs in the car while enjoying the stunning views of the Corniche. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable trip. We had a wonderful day... - We had a wonderful day with Saif exploring the beautiful city of Muscat. We not only learned about the history of Oman, but also how warm and welcoming the people are in the region. Definitely recommend visiting this wonderful country!

My Muscat City Tour led by Amer - I am submitting this review of the Muscat Tour led by Amer of Star Tours Oman on December 10, 2024. My name is Norman Louis Morgan from Phoenix, Arizona, USA. Along with my traveling companion Hsiaoyu Lo from New York, we booked an all day tour of Muscat. We spent five days and four nights traveling independently in Oman after we had participated in a 6 night Gate 1 Group Tour of the U.A.E. Hsiaoyu had booked tours online and we went on three tours together and she also went on one trip by herself. The Muscat City Tour occurred on our last day in Oman and after that we needed immediately to get to the Muscat Airport for our flights home to the USA. Amer did an incredible job of meeting all of our needs and special requests. He was at all times friendly, polite and efficient. To begin with, he accomodated our request to see all the sights on the tour in a well planned timetable and then to drop us off at the Airport at the time we requested. Also he did a superlative job of providing interesting information about all the sites we visited. He was also an excellent driver and willing and capable photographer to take our photos on request. He acted excellently as translator for our interactions with store workers and was knowledgeable where to buy the souvenirs we wanted and facilitated our getting the best deal. Throughout the trip he looked out for our safety and welfare. We were totally satisfied with his guidance and his friendly personality. The Muscat City Tour was truly fantastic and filled with interesting venues. We got to experience the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the Bait Al Zubair Museum, the Corniche, the Mutrah Souq, the Fish Market, the Royal Opera House and many photo-stops for the Al-Mirani Fort, Al-Jalali Fort, Mutrah Fort, the Al-Alam Palace and the Parliament. We are grateful to Amer for his guidance and his humanity. We truly enjoyed beautiful Oman and the gracious and friendly Omani People, of whom Amer was a fine representative. Highly Recommended. - Great full day tour covering everything important in Muscat. Aziz was an amazing guide and took me and my family safely and showed us everything important including explaining the historical and cultural significance. Great day trip.

Fantabulous Musct City Full day trip - I booked this trip thru viator and my Tour Guide was Waleed. He was spot on time at 0900 and we visited the published itinerary which included Sultan Qaboos Moaque, Opera House, Corniche, Mutrah region including the Souq . After a brief break we went onto the luxury palatial hotel Al bustan and The Royal Palace. Waleed was extremely polite, knowledgeable and i enjoyed every minute of his company. He did not rush and we had a relaxing day. He has a thorough knowledge of the history and it was interesting to know a lot of things whech were new to me. In the end he took me to oman mall and waited till i did the rounds and even picked up a McD burger. He was a pleasure to have a company. I strongly recommend Waleed as a tour guide 10/10.

Muscat in one day - Our guide Said made sure we get to know up close the culture and traditions in Oman, he is very knowledgeable and made sure we had a great time during the tour, you get plenty of time to enjoy all the places, I highly recommend this tour.

Once to experience - The communication with the tour company was smooth and instant via SMS, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, we were unable to visit the Opera House due to VIP visitors, but this wasn’t the company’s fault. The Grand Mosque was absolutely worth visiting – a true highlight of the tour. The museum was informative and gave us a good sense of the history. The fish market was interesting to experience, while the souk was ok. Overall, I didn’t feel I fully connected with Muscat as a city. There didn’t seem to be many vibrant promenades or places to walk and enjoy. However, this is more about the nature of the city itself rather than any shortcomings of the tour company. As a tourist perspective, Muscat has its own charm but perhaps not the kind of lively urban atmosphere some might expect.
