First, visit Al Hamra to see the Bahla fort and the old city of Bahla. Then, climb to the great Jebel Shams, also known as the “Grand Canyon of Oman”. Next, visit a real Omani family house where you will be greeted with rose water. Together with the family, witness the ancient way of cooking chicken BBQ on rocks, which is mostly famous in the south of Oman. Once the meal is ready, sit on the floor with the family to enjoy lunch. Afterwards, your guide will take you to try the famous Omani sweet, “halwa”, for no charge.
