  • Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque - At approximately 8:30 AM, we will take you through the gorgeous city of Muscat where we will first visit the grand mosque which, among a couple others, is one of the biggest 1-piece handmade Iranian carpet in the world. The carpet weighs a whopping 21 tons and can comfortably accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers. Shortly.

  • Royal Opera House - We will drive you around the ministries and the Royal Opera House area which is leading arts, and culture organization in the Sultanate of Oman. The vision of the Opera House is to serve as a center of excellence in global cultural engagement.
  • Qurum Beach - Then visit Qurum Beach Photo Stop and we will take you to have a taste the Omani bread with honey and karak tea.
  • Mutrah Souq - Then continue drive to the Muttrah Souk is next, where you can find various souvenirs and Muttrah Souq one of the oldest marketplaces in Oman dating back two hundred years.
  • Al Alam Palace - Al Alam palace, the official palace of his majesty.
  • Oman - Next visit the 2 Portuguese forts of Al Jalali and Al Mirani photo stop are next on the itinerary.
  • Oman - Parliament Oman
    These forts are impressive to tour and explore. Various picture opportunities are available throughout the fortresses. Next, we will all stop at the parliament photo stop where you can capture some of the best memories in the city of Muscat.

We’ll guide you through the stunning city of Muscat, starting with a visit to the magnificent mosque, showcasing one of the largest single-piece handmade Iranian carpets in the world and having the capacity to host up to 20,000 worshippers.

Next, we’ll take a tour around the government buildings and the Royal Opera House vicinity, a premier institution for arts and culture in Oman. The Opera House aims to excel as a hub for global cultural interaction. We’ll then stop at Qurum Beach for photos and sample the local Omani bread complemented with honey and karak tea.

The journey continues at Muttrah Souk, a marketplace where you can find varied keepsakes. It’s one of Oman’s oldest markets. After that, we’ll provide a glimpse of the Al Alam palace, the official residence of His Majesty.

The tour culminates with a visit to the picturesque Portuguese forts of Al Jalali and Al Mirani, which also make for a wonderful photo opportunity.

  • Every Friday the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and the Royal opera House are both closed, so it will be a photo stop only.
  • Children under 5 years old can join the tour free of charge.

Great tour with a fantastic guide - I had an incredible tour of Oman with a fantastic guide, Ahmed. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience unforgettable. Ahmed’s passion for Oman’s history and culture shone through every part of the tour. I also enjoyed the itinerary, seeing many places but never feeling rushed. I can highly recommend Ahmed and this tour for an enriching experience around the beautiful Oman.

New explore - Our trip to explore the beauty of Muscat was fantastic. In just four hours, we visited several highlights, including the Grand Mosque, Royal Opera House, Qurum Beach, and Muttrah. We also enjoyed shopping at Muttrah Souq, where we picked up some delicious sweets and traditional bukhoor.

Super enjoyed🥰 - Our 4-hour Muscat City tour was truly amazing. We enjoyed trying Omani bread and the famous karak tea, both of which were delicious. The Grand Mosque was stunning, both inside and out, showcasing incredible architecture.

First Time in Sultanate of Oman - Ali is a good friend for you guys who wishing to travel in Sultanate of Oman. He has background knowledge in history of this state and eligible to communicate in English. It is my first time to visit Oman but I had a great time here with Omani coffee and date palm. In addition, I can feel how beautiful of Muscat where modernity watching with old Omani culture. I was wondered how they can preserve their identities.

10/10 half day tour of Muscat with Hamood - highly recommend you book with him - Hamood was an excellent tour guide, companion, and impromptu photographer for our half day tour of Muscat. The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and Opera House in particular were breathtaking. Highly recommend you book a tour with him.
