Mega nice - BUT ONLY IF YOU ARE THERE EARLY - Everything about the place is already described: 1 OMR for translating by boat, then 45 min hike and climb a bit over stones, then swim through 3 pools and then squeeze through the small gap into the cave with waterfall to crown. We arrived at 9.30am and that was just fine from the time, in the cave we were even alone for 5 min. This was a TOP TOUR overall, a highlight in our Oman holiday. BUT CAUTION: By the time we swam back, it was already getting fuller and by about 12, when we got out of the water again, all hell was going on there. There are a lot of buses coming there around noon and then the glory is over. That was bad what was going on. So be there as early as possible, then it is definitely a great experience.

Oman tour - We had a private tour arranged by our hotel concierge to visit Wadi Shab. Our driver/guide for the day was Saif. We were very lucky to have him as our guide. He was not only very knowledgeable and professional but also very passionate about his job and very proud of his country. He went above and beyond his call of duty and showed us around everywhere including the city and the mosque with great interest. It was very clear that he enjoys taking people around and showing them the sights with true passion and not just as a job. He is a true Ambassador for Oman and a asset to the company. We were very fortunate to have had him as our guide, thanks to our concierge Jamal at the St. Regis hotel, who hand picked Saif for us. Thank you both for making our trip and our touring experience so enjoyable and memorable. I would definitely recommend Saif to anyone that is planning to visit Oman. Fantastic Experience, Must-go tour - Saif was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable of the trail, gave useful tips, took our photos, and ate good food after. He is an excellent conversationalist who knows many things about Oman’s history and the history of the wadi & sinkhole. Made the trail easy as well for beginners like me. Tour was a 5/5 will go again and bring more friends!

Amazing - Saif was our tour guide, he was so informative and knowledgeable. It was a very hot day and he kept us hydrated with lots of drinks. The views were breath taking and I’d gladly do it again!

Wadi Shab / Bimah sinkhole & green mountains - Saif is the best GUIDE in Oman, he lives his profession, knows everything about the country, its history and its people he answered our questions completely, gladly again and again under his guidance we visited wadi shab and nizwa (market) and surroundings, and especially ‘green mountains’.

Amazing experience ! - We went to visit Wadi Shab and Sinkhole with our two children (9 and 15) and had an excellent daytrip. We were picked up at 8am in a comfortable and secure 4x4 car, and enjoyed a 1,5 hour drive with wonderful landscape from Muscat to Wadi Shab. We then had a 45 minutes hike towards the first pool and swam our way upwards to the hidden cascade… our guide Kalfan was great and showed us the best spots! My kids had great fun on this tour! We highly recommend this experience!!

An Amazing Experience with a Great Tour Guide - We booked the Wadi Shab/Sinkhole tour via our hotel, and we had Saif al Aghbari as our tour guide. We had an amazing day! Saif looked after us so well - explained everything we were seeing (from the moment we were in the car in Muscat until we left him later in the day!). The hike itself at Wadi Shab is very easy going with just some treacherous rocks at points. You can jump in from the higher points if you like! Very fun. The sinkhole and the white beach are beautiful as well. Overall it was a great experience made all the better by a great (and friendly!) tour guide. Thank you Saif!!!!!
