- Wahiba Sands - Departing from Muscat, we make our way to Wadi Fanja for a brief photo opportunity. Progressing onwards, we visit a Bedouin House, where the tents are sectioned off by an ornamental divider known as a gata. One side of the tent is designated for women, children, and storage, including cooking equipment. Here, we indulge in traditional Omani coffee and dates. Subsequently, you’ll have the chance to ride camels, historically utilized by local Bedouins for transport. Following this, we embark on a thrilling Quad Bike ride, offering an exhilarating adrenaline boost as you navigate the sandy terrain. Additionally, you can partake in Sand Boarding, an adventurous sport akin to Snowboarding, providing an entertaining method to traverse the desert dunes. We then proceed to conventional Sand Dune Bashing, joining others in this exciting activity. Come afternoon, enjoy a lunch before we commence our return journey to Muscat.

We set out early from Muscat, making our way to the Sharqiya region. Along the route, we pause briefly for a photo opportunity at the charming village of Fanja before proceeding to Wadi Bani Khalid. This expansive wadi provides the opportunity to explore further into its depths or perhaps visit its concealed caves. There’s also the option to dine at a local Omani restaurant right there. In the afternoon, our journey takes us to the renowned Wahiba Sands Desert. Here, you’ll traverse off-road conditions and bear witness to infinite expanses of undisturbed sand and towering dunes. It’s a chance to fully immerse yourself in and capture the enchanting spirit of the Omani desert. We’ll also have the possibility to stop by a typical Bedouin house where we can sample Omani coffee and dates (subject to availability). Additionally, you can mount a Camel for a ride and drive towards the dunes for abundant photo opportunities. Following this desert expedition, we hit the road back to Muscat.
