The journey is better than the destination - A beautiful walk n view point esp if approached from the wishing well as compared to Haathi Paon. To get here drive up the Tea shop from where the road to clouds end goes up, there is another slim and somewhat one broken road to the wishing well that is motorable but also an easy 15 min walk. Once u reach the well, the road is surprisingly well maintained. Infact the initial part of the road from the wishing well to the George point is one of the more scenic walks in all of Mussoorie. Take your time, discover the blossoming rhododendron trees and meander on the grassy trails that lead to George point. If you want to see the snow capped peaks getting there before it gets too sunny or hot helps, else they get hidden by clouds. From George point you can either go to the mountain up ahead or as I did, walk back to the wishing well and then onto Clouds end & trek to the Jwala Temple on the other side of the valley. Which btw is the best treks you will do in this areas..... Easy, absolutely smashing and not to be missed if ur reasonable fit and up for a 2.15 hour brisk walk.

Superb Dayhike - This spot is situated 6 kms from Mussoorie and offers spectacular views of the Himalayas and Doon valley. Earlier this place was known as Park Estate built in 1832 and now refurbished into a beautiful picnic spot. The hike is approx 2.2 kms from the parking and the 360 degree view from top is mindblowing. Several Himalayan peaks are visible from here and is worth to undertake. After first 900 mts hike you reach a flat place where the house of George Everest is situated. After some rest undertake rest of the 1.3 kms trek. One must have to be careful here as the path is strewn with loose scree. A few tea and maggi shops are enroute where you can rest. Overall a must place to visit in Mussoorie

Can skip - Not worth it, the view is not at all worth trekking. Ticket costs Rs. 200 er person. If you want a car for riding about 1.2 km you have to pay 1000 extra per trip. If you want to bring your own car than it will cost extra. On reaching starting point it's not worth. Simply you can skip it unless you are trekking lover
