Pepper Pot, besides being locally renowned for its folklore of witches and fairies, was a popular spot for hikers and picnickers residing in Mussoorie and Landour during the British Raj. Located in the middle of a thick forest, the Pepper Pot peak was a treasured site during those days.

Featuring impressive views of the Himalayas and the wilderness, Pepper Pot Mountain is one of the ‘seven summits around Mussoorie’.

During the mid-19th Century, British visitors in Mussoorie named this uniquely shaped hill Pepper Pot, as its silhouette reminded them of a pepper pot.

Nice walk into the wild - Beautiful place. Rahul was a great guide, very friendly and entertaining. Beautiful trail but at places a it got bit scary because it goes deep into the forest but We were only three people so I guess this should be normal. Overall an excellent experience. Rahul was Great.
