Excellent Tour - We had a very early pick up from our hotel (4:45am) for a transport to a parking lot for breakfast. There wasn’t a whole lot on offer - some muffins and croissants. Unfortunately it started to rain during this time so everything had to be wrapped up without sufficient time to eat. We then headed to the park. It was awhile before we received confirmation that the tour would proceed since it is up to the rangers. But this was explained to us in good detail so everyone knew what was happening. We appreciated the safety protocols and protective gear including elbow pads, knee pads and helmet. It was great to have a practice run on their mini course to get a hang of the Segway. Our group was broken into two and we headed off first to start the ride around the base of Uluru. The ride is amazing as you get to see the rock from different angles and we had a good explanation of the folklore that the indigenous people have adopted. Only concern was when our guide Nick yelled at my husband in front of the entire group when he couldn’t hear what was being said while having our photo taken. It was unnecessary to sarcastically say “these aren’t difficult instructions” given my husband has a hearing problem. Perhaps a little more understanding would be appropriate. Other than that, it was a great morning and we would recommend this tour as a great way to see Uluru.

Uluru segway tour - The Sunrise and Segway tour was amazing. The guides Nick and his colleague were thoughtful and ensured we all had a good time. The segway tour is a must both from cultural trip around Uluru and just plain fun.

Great experience! - Great experience! Knowledgeable staff and the Segway tour portion was a couple of hours-well worth it! Breakfast was simple-you have to stand and eat/drink your coffee etc so kind of hard to enjoy or make the most of it. But other than that it was pretty fun!

So glad we did this - An early start with a 5am pick up from our hotel but well worth it. Our guide (Sarah, I think) was very good and there were so many times as we passed people walking around Uluru that we were so pleased to be on a Segway. Walking looked like hard work (about 6 miles I think).

Sheree’s Adventure - What a fun way to get around the base of Uluru. We stopped at a few places and heard lots of stories and the rock was spectacular.

Quick Uluru - One cannot ask for more of its kind. The activity is entrusted to 3 active and helpful girls. The breakfast offered at dawn is good quality and quite complete for an outdoor picnic. The magic of Uluru does the rest. The segway allows you to take a quick full ride around the monolith without much effort. The morning schedule allows you to avoid the heat. Advisable

Super fun tour. - Well organised, informative guides, interesting, fun and efficient run by the guides. Equipment was good and breakfast was nice. The tour round the bases was fabulous even in the rain. We were provided wet weather gear which was needed when it rained unexpectedly.
