Lake Victoria - Upon arrival at Mwanza Airport, our guide will greet you and transport you to your hotel. Here, you’ll receive a briefing and introduction to your safari. Mwanza, known for its pleasant weather, environment, safety, and security, is a charming lake and rock city. If you arrive early, you’ll have 2-3 hours to explore Mwanza city, view Lake Victoria, visit key areas, and enjoy the city’s ambiance and hospitality. You can also shop for local and cultural products if interested, before heading to lunch and then driving straight to check in at Serengeti National Park.

Serengeti National Park - After lunch, you’ll be driven to the expansive Serengeti National Park (14,763 sq km or 5,700 sq miles). Upon checking in, you’ll embark on a game drive in the western wilderness of the Serengeti. You’ll have ample time for an extensive game drive, encountering a variety of resident animals. The park is home to lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, elands, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and more. You’ll also see numerous birds, including those involved in the zebra and wildebeest migration. In the evening, you’ll arrive in central Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay at a quality tented camp.

Full Game Drive in Central Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - Rise early at 6:00 am to meet our English-speaking guide and embark on a full-day game drive in the vast wilderness of the Serengeti. You’ll witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the Ten Wonders of the Natural World, a spectacular event in Tanzania. If you book between June and September, you’ll have the chance to see this migration and encounter the Big 5 animals, Big Cats, and a mix of resident animals. The park is home to lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, elands, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and the rare oribi antelope. You’ll have opportunities for close-up photography throughout the day before enjoying a picnic lunch in the wild. The game drive continues until you return to Mwanza for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for a boating and hiking adventure on Lake Victoria and Saanane Island the next day.

Lake Victoria - After lunch, we’ll take you to Bismarck Rock, where you’ll have 2 hours to observe local fishermen and enjoy a magical cruise on the vast Lake Victoria, an unforgettable experience. The cruise includes soft drinks and snacks. Finally, if the weather permits, you’ll end the day with beautiful scenery and a stunning sunset before being driven to the airport for departure.
