Best Taco Tour Bondabu - Amazing Taco Tour our 1st night in Mexico City. Ernesto was our tour guide and the owner of the company so we definitely lucked out with having him as our tour guide! He took us to the famous Mexico City of Navarete where tacos originated in CDMX. We went to 4 famous spots and tasted a variety of tacos such as pastor, suadero, campenche, cows tounge, cheek and head!!! It was all amazing!! He also gave so much history on the neighborhood and how the tacos originated!! Ernesto is passionate and definitely made a connection with me and my wife! Definitely recommend this tour over others to get the full experience of CDMX tacos!!!!!! Thx Ernesto for giving us a great experience!! Rob & Chie

100/10 Taco Tour - Tacos are not the same after this tour! If you want food cooked with love and history and to share a meal with friends, then look no further….actually don’t even consider other tours!! Ernesto is so warm and passionate about tacos, culture, and history that we truly enjoyed every second of this tour. Any tour guide you have through this company shares the same passion for Mexico City and the art of tacos! If you have the time and budget, book every single tour with this Bondabu to see CMDX from a local’s perspective. Don’t be afraid to try everything!! It was the most delicious food we had during our trip.

What an experience and introduction to Mexico City! - We did the street taco tour on our first evening in Mexico City. Our guides were great! 2 young men (one in training) that were so engaging and informative. Got picked up on time and headed to Narvarte for the tacos! They provided so much insight into life in Mexico City and what their lives are like. We had many questions and they happily answered all. We learned a lot! We went to 3 different taco places and tried different meats and tacos. Personally I couldn’t eat the beef tongue but my son happily ate mine as well. The food was delicious! Seeing what the neighborhood was like and watching all the goings on was so interesting. I’m so happy we did this tour to immerse ourselves on our first night. The last stop on the tour was for coffee and/or delicious dessert to end the meal. Picked up a bag of coffee there we enjoyed at our airbnb during our stay.

Amazing experience with amazing tacos! - We had a private tour with Francesca and it was amazing!! She is incredibly knowledgable about the history of Mexico City and shared so much interesting information with us. The taco tour was amazing - all the places we visited were delicious, and we felt like we were dining with the locals! I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to try authentic, local spots.

Highlight of our visit! - We thought we loved mexican food but this tour proved we had no idea just how good it can be! The guide was very friendly and approachable, told us what to get in each taqueria and it was an amazing experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Mexico City and interested in trying the best if its street food!

Delicious Tacos & Cultural Tour - My husband and I recently did the Street Taco Tour with Xavier, and it was amazing! The tacos were all fantastic, and places we never would have found otherwise. Xavier also gave us so much info on Mexican culture, architecture, shopping, etc. We got even more than we bargained for, and the tour just felt like we were hanging out with an old friend!

navarte taco tour - So much wonderful food! We loved trying tacos in the Navarte area of Mexico City (my boyfriend was especially thrilled to try tacos at El Vilsito, which was shown in an episode of "Taco Chronicles"). We had way more than enough food for dinner (& even had to pass on a 2nd taco at our last stop). Navarte may be more down to earth/not as hip as Roma/Condesa, but the tacos were definitely worth it.

Underwhelming... - First of all our guide Mario was a very friendly affable chap. This is NOT a criticism of his efforts by any means but that of the design and value offered by this tour. My wife and I were quite underwhelmed by the experience (perhaps disappointed given the other gushing reviews). Firstly, the contact number provided was not reachable the entire evening. We were unfortunately running late and were frantically trying to contact someone without any luck. We were 10mins late in the end but thankfully Mario was waiting and was very nice about it. Secondly, we were not thrilled about the location. Appreciate that it's residential and supposed to be more authentic but we'd have preferred a more lively area with a bit more of a buzz. Also the choice of the four tacquerias were a bit one dimensional. May be I'm being unfair and they are all much of the same (which then questions the idea of a taco tour) but we expected a bit more of a differentiation. Finally, the value of money is pretty poor. I appreciate that it's not the food we pay for but the holistic experience and the guide's time and insights but we just felt it just wasn't worth it. Sorry.
