The Real Deal! - We had a fantastic time cooking chili rellenos stuffed with spicy chicken or beef along with rice, fresh tortillas and a fresh tomatillo sauce. And let’s not forget the fresh margaritas. All to die for!!! We will be back for sure.

Chili relleno’n out - This was the highlight of my trip to Huatulco. Alfredo picked up my wife and I in a sweet restored Beetle right on time at our resort. Our cooking class itself was fantastic. Chile rellenos, tortillas, salsa, stuff jalapeños. Pretty much everything I’d order in a restaurant. The conversation and insight about food and Huatulco was a great as the cooking itself. Alfredo is very chill and laid back. Would hang out again for sure, and definitely learn more.

What a way to dive into the culture and the food! - Attended Wahaca Cooking Class last week with my new friends from our hotel. Alfredo picked up up in his cool VW bug and took us to his house where he had a beautiful kitched prepared to start cooking. We made the most delicous mexican food and heard the history of his family, his mother, Huatulco and Mescal. It was 5 star experience and when i return to Huatlulco nex year i will take another one of his classes! He sent the recipes so now i can make the in Michigan.

An Authentic Experience!!! - Alfredo’s cooking class is like no other that I've been to. We arrived to La Bocana in Alfredo's signature tourquoise blue van that looks straight out of scooby doo! In an open air kitchen, this class leaves the stale & strict instructionary style behind; instead we all gathered around like old friends over the holidays and learned to cook like real Oaxacans. Alfredo is an amazing chef and teacher who is passionate about not only food but your entire experience. I would highly recommend this class for groups or singles!

Great cooking class - Sue and Wayne both truly enjoyed the friendly informative cooking class with Alfredo and his Wahaca cooking class. The food was excellent and the informal style taught us both many favorite dishes. Really enjoyed our experience.

Fantastic Time, Amazing Food! - Attended one of Alfredo's classes based on a recommendation from a friend of mine and so glad that I did. Fresh local food and delicious recipes were on the menu topped off with a giant pitcher of margaritas. Alfredo is a great teacher and wonderful host. And if that isn't enough, you get to ride around in one of the coolest vans in Huatulco!

A fun morning of cooking with my teenagers - We had a great time cooking with Alfredo who first took us shopping through the bustling markets of his home town for ingredients and then we hunkered down to cook. My two 19-year-olds rolled up their sleeves and had a fabulous time. Than you Alfredo!

Cooking in Huatulco - Never in a million years did I think I would opt for a cooking class especially while on vacation. Alfredo has something special (a side from patience)! Alfredo picked us up in a cool VW bus at our hotel drove us into town to his restaurant (not the normal class location). We were able shop for all of the ingredients for our class which was incredibly awesome all on it's own because it was all within walking distance to the restaurant. Back at the restaurant Alfredo put us to work! He gave clear direction and let us have fun. My 9 year old loved every bit of this experience. She chopped, peeled, sliced and diced with the rest of us. You eat what you make of course and the entire event was incredibly memorable. Alfredo speaks English and Spanish fluently and is wonderfully friendly and is a very talented individual. We will do a class again the next time we are in Huatulco.
