• Canal de los Piratas - Experience the thrill of being a pirate aboard our sailboat. Explore the stunning Bacalar Lagoon; unwind or take a dip in the breathtaking turquoise waters. Enjoy delightful snacks and drinks throughout the journey. To start, we’ll meet the captain who will guide us on a 5-hour adventure across the lagoon. Our first stop is the Pirates Canal, the main link to the Caribbean Sea. Amidst mangroves and turquoise waters, you’ll find a shallow natural pool ideal for swimming and relaxation.

• Isla de los Pájaros - Have you discovered the enchanting Bird Island? This unique natural sanctuary is our second swimming stop. Here, you’ll encounter a diverse array of birds and learn about their fascinating habitat. If you love photographing landscapes and wildlife, get your camera ready—this place will captivate you.

• Lago Bacalar (Lake of the Seven Colors) - We’ll sail to the southern part of the lagoon, known as the Sanctuary of the Stromatolites. These “living rocks” are colonies of microorganisms that resemble fossils and are found in only a few places worldwide, including Bacalar Lagoon. The crew will gladly share intriguing facts about these vital components of our ecosystem.

• Bacalar - Our final stop is the “Abandoned Hotel,” an old structure by the lagoon. This area, rich with mangroves, turquoise waters, birds, and snails, will enchant you at every turn. The crew will treat you to a delicious captain’s specialty lunch. As we head back, you’ll experience the unforgettable sight of the sunset over the Lagoon of the Seven Colors of Bacalar.
