Soviet legacy - The Mykolaiv city is a very nice, clean and calm. I'm a belarusian man, so when having this City Tour I couldn't stop thinking about this city reminding me majority of the belarusian cities. Unlike Odessa or Kharkiv, Mykolaiv seems to be actively developed by Soviet authorities, and this is something that you will be noticing all the time during this tour. Unfortunately Mykolaiv is having a tough times after the USSR fall, but it's history is definitely worth knowing. Local guide Kostya grew up in Mykolaiv and has a pretty good understanding of local history. I'd probably suggest building a story out of the many interesting facts Kostya knows :)
