Thank you. Great Tour - Divakar, the tour guide, had an excellent knowledge of the Indian gods and shared it on the way to the temples. At each temple was a professional guide who explained everything well and it was possible to ask questions. In the morning there was a short breakfast at an inn in Maddur and the same as a lunch on the way back. Can recommend the tour. Thank you very much.

Such a fabulous trip! - What a fantastic trip! As a solo female traveler, my driver Mohan made me feel comfortable and safe my entire day. My guides at both locations were fantastic, but my guide at the UNESCO Site was second-to-none. Her knowledge was impeccable. She took her time explaining every aspect of the temple to me. I cannot recommend this trip enough!

Art history and myths - Talakadu and Somnathpur are steeped in history and legend. The architecture and attention to details speak for themselves. They are hauntingly beautiful. Our guide Vignesh deserves special mention for his courteous manners, and in-depth knowledge. We were very pleased that he was our guide.

Wonderful driver/guide - Mohan is the best, super thoughtful, you can tell his attention to details like clean car, always around to help you, bring you to the best restaurant. I am a solo female traveling, he made me feel really safe! And very informative, he tells you all things about India 😀 The Somnathpur temple is amazingly beautiful.

Temple tour in Karnataka - Great day trip with Shekar. We visited two temples and got a private tour of both. We followed that up with a great lunch stop. Definitely recommended.

Temples outside Bengalore - It was an excellent visit. The Samnathpur temple was impressive and the guide gave an interesting and informative description. This temple together with Tipu summer palace (the one outside Mysore) must be visited. The Talakadu complex has a series of temples with a very interesting story associated with a 500 year old curse. To top.up this nice visit there was a ride on a bull cart. I have to say that the coordinator Vignesh was very helpful and he gave me a detailed introduction to the whole tour and the sites. A day worth spent.

A fascinating visit to the Talakadu world heritage area - The tour involved guided visits to several temples in this world heritage area. Several of the temples have only recently been uncovered, having been buried by sand for centuries. English speaking guides were good, but would have been hard to follow without earlier background from my driver and guide Divakar, who was also excellent company for the day.

Somnathpur temple was the highlight - The tour itself was relatively short given the 2.5 hour journey to and fro from the temples. Our guide for the day was Vignesh and let me say that he was really pleasent and attentive. I brought my mother for this trip and he did all he could, from buying us coconut water to providing explanations during the trip, which was amazing. Whilst he was our guide, for each place we went to, there were local guides. Temples we visited especially the Somnathapura temple was the highlight of the trip. Gives you Angkor Wat vibes and is truly magnificent. The other temple in Talakadu was good too but i would skip that if given the choice. Now last but not least, the drive to the place. It was rough. Whilst we advise people never to do this tour on weekends as it gets super crowded on the road and the temples, the driver for our tour was not great. He navigated the roads well but driving was too rough
