- Sri Chamundeshwari Temple - For the second half of the day, continue to Chamundeswari Temple, situated on top of Chamundi Hill, where you’ll have a chance to wander amidst this religious site’s seven-story tall Gopura (temple tower) and beautiful statues and doors covered in gold and silver. The complex was built in dedication to the Hindu goddess Durga, long a key deity for the Maharajas of Mysore.
- St. Philomena’s Church - Finish by checking out a very different religious site at the Roman Catholic church of St. Philomena. The intricate facade of this European-style house of worship offers an interesting contrast with some of Mysore’s Hindu temples. After visiting the church, you’ll head back to Bangalore.

Unique experience - Rish took us out on a day to remember. He told us about the many gods and statues we would be seeing along the way. Once we arrived in Mysore we saw everything that was promised. Rish was informative and patient as we photographed our way through the temple and palace. Today was the Harvest festival so Rish and the driver went out of their way to stop at a village so we could witness the festivities. An amazing day I would highly recommend this tour company for any of your tour needs all over India, I’ll definitely use them again.

Bharat is great. He really wanted to make sure that I was taken care of during the whole trip. - Bharat is great. He really wanted to make sure that I was taken care of during the whole trip.
The trip to Mysore from Bengalore is a bit long, round trip was about 6 hours car ride. But it is worth it.
