A day with Deo! - The day started off a little bumpy, but once we met Deo all my concerns vanished. Deo was directly responsible for us having such a wonderful excursion. First of all, we lucked into a private tour, so it was just my wife and I. Then as we were driving to the mud pool, he told us stories and history of Loutoka and Fiji and his ancestors. When we got to the mud pool, we were the first ones there since the tours from the ship arrived significantly after we had been there awhile. Anyway, Deo showed us to the mud, the cleansing pool, gave us instructions, took pictures and kept guiding us. On his suggestion, we both got a one hour massage and that was just a slice of heaven! Afterwards, since we had talked about seeing the Garden of the Sleeping Giant, he took us there. That place is incredible! He parked the car, guided us in, introduced us to Ray and let us go and explore at our pace. When we were done, he met us at the lounge area, got our drinks for us and even pointed on of the fans in our direction. Heading back into town, I asked if it would be possible to stop at a pharmacy. Deo took us without hesitation and I was able to get what I needed. He then took us back to ship. All day long, he was patient and NEVER made us feel rushed. He told some great stories and filled us in on some great history. Deo is truly a gem of a guide to this company and an asset to Fiji!

Amazing time - Was beautiful experience and lovely day. Massage and hot pool made us feel extremely refreshed after a morning of zip lining. Couldn’t fault it.

Really! - I wasn't gonna it, BUT I DID! It was FOMO - fear of missing out. It was what it is - a mud bath, except you personally cake oneself in mud and then dry, before getting into hot pools and various states of cleanliness!
Hated having to take off my jewellery and just leave it with my bag near entrance - it was safe, but would have preferred not have ha to leave it unattended.
I couldn't put this on my face but I managed to get well coated otherwise. I guess it's one of those must dos - back at the hotel it was hard going getting the black staining out of skin creases - even the next day I found grey bits!
Wear whatever item is throw away - I went for a bra and knickers!

Mud baths were fantastic we went 10 years ago and loved it so we wanted to to do it all over again and loved it again. The staff at the mud baths were also fantastic and explained the experience well and history . Thank you go get Muddy

Pure magic! - What a magical experience. The staff were lovely. The mud itself was something I’ve never felt before but weirdly enjoyable. The massages are so wonderfully priced and just amazing. Bought some goodies from the stalls. Highly recommend

Such a unique activity! - This was such a unique experience that we’ll always remember. The story of the naturally occurring springs and the mud’s healing properties was awesome.
We were so appreciative of our awesome driver, Rahul who transported our family from his hotel (and lucky for us, we got the bus to ourselves!) He patiently waited for us to finish and safely returned us! He was kind and helpful ❤️

You don’t actually get... - You don’t actually get into a mud pool. Buckets of mud are provided and you smear the mud onto each other and let it dry. Our driver gave us the best tour ever as we were the only ones on the tour. He was gracious and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Fiji. He was the best part of this tour and made the experience worthwhile.. Slippery rocks were quite hazardous in the wash off pool. Not safe for elderly or anybody with stability issues. Hot spring pool was OK.
