Excellent way to visit the ‘highlights’ of Nadi - This was a great way to see the highlights of Nadi and Bobby was an excellent guide. Spent just the right amount of time at each place - would highly recommend.

Great tour with an AMAZING guide! Highly recommend! - Excellent tour to get a feel of traditional Fijian life and also see some beautiful scenery. BOBBY was our guide and he was OUTSTANDING! Really, really nice guy who was so knowledgeable about everything Fijian - a local guy born and raised right in the Nadi area. We cannot recommend Bobby enough! We visited the Hindu temple, a local farmers market (try the kava!), a local department (like a Fijian Macy’s) which was interesting as a comparison. The store was where “rich” people shop (and you could also get good/coffee/etc there instead of shopping. It was interesting to look around the store and compare clothing styles, prices, etc. We also visited a local school (please make a donation!) and a lovely botanical garden, and got to walk around with the supplied umbrellas because it poured rain right then (we couldn’t go on the Sleeping Giant walk because of the rain and extremely slippery walkways up the mountain). Stopped for food at a little local spot, and also visited the oldest Fijian village. We ended the day with the mud bath/thermal pool/massage location which was very interesting. (We had massages because we had to get straight on a plane and didn’t want to feel icky from the mud but wished we had extra clothes because we could have just gone in the thermal pool!) Yes, there were trinkets and jewelry for sale everywhere but that is always the case in similar situations. Bobby explained that there is no social security, or any government assistance for citizens, so people make money any way they can even into their elderly years - they are just trying to survive. (Side note: Fijian wage is $5/hr, please tip Bobby well!!) Highly recommend the tour - request Bobby if you can!

10/10 would recommend this tour! - Lets start with a Kudos to our tour guide - Bobby!! He was extremely accommodating and patient with our group. We first visited a temple although it was closed due to a religious event. Nonetheless, were still able to look from the outside. Went shopping in downtown Nadi, visited a farmers market where we tried Kava, then headed to a primary school, visited their village, toured the garden of the sleeping giant, had lunch and closed it out with a mud bath. Although personally I would have preferred to laze around the beach, this was a great experience in understanding their culture which I have come to appreciate. I thoroughly enjoyed the primary school visit - the children were welcoming and friendly! Tip: Don't forget to bring your own towel and reapply your sunscreen! 10/10 would recommend this tour!

Great day - Great day out around Nadi and surrounds. Bobby was a fantastic host. Lots of knowledge and was very accommodating. We were the only people on the bus, felt like our own private tour.

Great tour company - We were lucky enough to have Deo as our driver & tour guide. As a family we visited the Temple, souvenir shop & farmers markets. My youngest child was wasn’t feeling well so Deo & Valentine tours went out of their way by organising another driver to take my husband & child back to our accommodation so I could continue with one of my children. After that the two of us went on to see the first village giving us some insight to village living. Each family living in the village has a market shop which is their main source of income so take plenty of Fijian dollars if you want to support them. We enjoyed listening to the songs during prayer time while in the village. We finished with the mud pools & spring water. We found it so relaxing!

Great Nadi experience - Great experience to see Nadi and surroundings. Although some things like the tourist department store was unnecessary for us, but that's because we had access to the stores already in Denarau. Loved the mud pools and hot springs, the information that this is a more spiritual place can be added in the description of the tour. Bobby was a great tour guide and Rahul a great driver. Recommended!
