There are much less tourists here which gives you the opportunity to savour and enjoy the surroundings. The template has been so well preserved and has lots of small shrines and a gate on the approach up to it with beautiful trees and plants and lanterns all around. There are also lots of little restaurants and places to buy souvenirs. We had a really enjoyable walk up to see this - 25 minutes from Nagano station and it was well worth the walk. A really beautiful place.

Saw so many monkeys! - We went to the snow monkey park in early May. Sanjid was our driver and was very patient and thoughtful.

Amazing Day - This private tour was amazing experience to visit Nagano region me & my family really enjoyed the tour. We had interaction with the naughty monkeys. Looking them closely was really great experience as we never had this kind of experience before. Sajid our driver was great person he patiently waited for us at every spot. Lunch was delicious we loved this trip and took alot of memories with us. Highly recommend this service to everyone.

Hot Spring Bathing Monkeys - One of the must visit place in Nagano region. Best experience. As my wife & I participated in this trip we had amazing experience . Our driver Malik had fluent English skills was also accommodating & friendly. Lunch meal was great. Trail up to the mountain is quite lengthy but amazing views. Finally Monkeys amazing & visualising them closely was best part of the tour. We Highly recommend Smile tours as they delivered their best to make our trip comfortable and relaxed.

Great tour - The tour is definitely pricey but you get what you pay for. I was contacted by the tour company and the driver one day before the tour. They were professional and efficient. Our driver Sajid was personable and accommodating. We would recommend friends to book this tour in the future.

Splendid experience & service - Amazing experiences with Mr.Malik.As he was really caring & patience, also gave us lot of limberness. He was attentive throughout the trip at all stopovers food was delicious we really liked the location of the restaurant. As our reservation was already been booked by the Smile team. Shirakawago at its best!!! - Malik our driver ensured that everything was simple,and delivered as committed. We got to see best view points, including lunch with delicious Hida beef at Takayama town. We didn’t felt rushed throughout the trip, our driver Malik went out of his way to show us the best spots with beautiful scenic views. We Highly recommend this tour service if discovering Shirakawa-go!

Highly recommended - Malik looked after us to make everything simple,professional & comfortable delivered byond our expectations . We enjoyed to see number of monkeys at one spot best part of the tour was seeing monkeys getting the hotspring bath. Throughout the tour we didn’t felt rushed and Malik went out of his way to show us the best spots with an delicious lunch in central Nagano. Highly recommend!

Great private Tour service - Spectacular tour. I think it couldn’t be better way to see Snow monkeys ! Our Driver Malik was quick, accommodating and spoke very fluent English. Surely it’s better than local bus tour service!!!! Highly recommended

Highly recommended - We took one day trip to snow Monkey from Hakuba with Malik as our driver. Malik was really fantastic! accommodating with changes to the time at each itinerary. He was also aware of BEST photo spots at each attraction ! Apart from this he is really good photographer too, so we have amazing memories to with us. Snow monely is very awesome and it was fun to see Monkeys closely though it was a long walk to the park. Also the lunch was really delicious and location of the restaurant was great. Highly recommend this to everyone visiting Nagano or Hakuba!!!

Exciting tour! - Sajid was an excellent driver & professional driver as guide. He arrived bit early while picking us up and took us to Snow monkey park initially. Visualizing monkeys so closely was amazing & exciting after that we had lunch, at Monzen terrace that served excellent healthy lunch. We ended up with Zenko-ji Temple which was also wonderful and have amazing shopping street as well. Overall, Sajid was respectful, accomodating & professional driver. Arigato gozaimashita to Smile team. Hope to see you soon again.
