A nice introduction to Nagano - I recommend this tour to anyone who visits Nagano. The tour represents the perfect mix between site seeing and sake + miso tasting. The sake tasting felt a bit rushed, we would have loved to get a bit more information given that the tour's main focus was Sake tasting. Our guide Masa was amazing, we had lovely conversations about Nagano and the sites we visited. The zenkoji temple and surrounding area are the most impressive temple we visited in Japan.

Temple, sale and local culture tour - One of the best tours we have ever been on! Masa has such a deep and rich knowledge of the area that you can’t help but learn. The tour takes you through the beautiful Zenkoji Temple and the surround area before ending at the Sake brewery. Warm, engaging and deeply knowledgeable we cannot thank Masa more for making it such a special day.

Sake tour at Nagano town - Masa is humorous and patient with excellent English. He knows Nagano very well and we were lucky to have him as our guide! We were amazed with the authentic and original oyaki and buckwheat tea, they are exceptionally delicious and heart warming. The Sake tasting was fantastic experience with clear explanation. He also took extra step to take beautiful and super pictures of us during our tour. He also guide us to a local nice resturant to enjoy dinner. We are all very pleased with his guide.

Excellent Introduction to Nagano - Masa gave an awesome introduction to Nagano during this Zenkoji Temple and Sake Tasting tour. I learned a lot about Nagano and even the little things about it. Having a tour gave a very personalized feel as we were able to interact with staff and locals throughout the tour. I am glad that Masa and whoever else we interacted with were able to answer questions I had as part of this learning experience. I learned a bit more about Japan in general as well.

Relaxing and informative way to see Nagano - Fun to learn about Nagano with Masa! Was good to do the tour early in our visit to Nagano as we learned some extra things to do in the next few days. (The tour had more than just sake) Other pros: - Visiting multiple shrines, learned the local traditions for them. - The non-alcoholic sakes during the tasting were surprisingly good. - Got lots of photos. - Was an overall relaxing experience.
