Explore the unexplored with TripNorthEast! - One of the best ways to experience the beautiful Meghalaya is with Bikramjeet & team. They know their way in and around Assam and Meghalaya. Since the weather in these regions is very unpredictable , it's good to book your trip with these knowledgeable guys! We missed watching Nohkalikai falls cos the mist wouldn't go😄and our ever energetic guide and driver Himantha made sure that we visited phe phe falls , which not only was more beautiful but also the trek to the falls was breathtaking! And even in Kaziranga, Bikramjeet has an amazing property which feels like staying in the wild. Don't miss their lip smacking veg Assamese thali. He even took us on a short unexplored trek around Kaziranga range, which got the kids thrilled! Icing on the cake was the Big Cat spotting in the forest! These guys even took care of our food preferences and took us to some amazing restaurants.
We have already booked them for our next summer break to Arunachal Pradesh 😄

I didn’t have to worry about anything. Everything was smooth and fun - I recently booked a tour with them and it was amazing.
From the start Bikramjeet da was very helpful. I told him I will be travelling with senior citizens, he made an itinerary covering all of the things in regions keeping everything in mind. I was bit concerned about rooms, but he made assured me that I don’t have to worry for anything and everything will be taken care of.
And turns out, it was amazing. Our driver, Rinku da, was amazing, patience, very friendly. He took us to local sightseeing as well as he made sure that we get the chance to experience local food and culture. It was raining heavily on most of the days of tour, but he drove safely and made sure that we get to see all of the things in reach. We really had fun. It was a good trip, we had loads of memory, my family enjoyed to the fullest as you can see in attached images. Every location was so beautiful that it can’t be described in words. It was truly an amazing experience.
Highly recommend them, the hospitality they provided, services, rooms were very clean and nice, the hotel locations had very good views and the driver, he became like a family at the end of trip. I’m glad that I trusted dada, I really didn’t had to worry about anything.
If you wish to book a trip, you can contact them directly as I did and make sure you go with Rinku da, he is an amazing person, a personal tour guide and excellent what he does.

A Mesmerizing Northeast Expedition - In the last week of Dec'23 we took a captivating 8-day journey through Trip Northeast, exploring the enchanting landscapes of Cherrapunji, the pristine Mawlynnong village, the vibrant city of Shillong, the wild terrains of Kaziranga, and the cultural gems of Guwahati. Bikramjitji (Trip North East) managed planning the tour, while driver Kishore Dasji was with us all along taking us to nice places through the tour, giving us important inputs/tips.
Day 1-2: Cherrapunji
Waterfalls & Caves of Cherrapunji were great. The living root bridges and Nohkalikai Falls were awe-inspiring. We enjoyed a tent experience for Day1 at Cherrapunji and it was good. The clear sky, the full moon on the Christmas night, live music, full moon was enjoyable albiet we also felt it a bit cold. We were served with hot water for drinking on demand. In the morning the sunrise view was good too. Day2 went about sight seeing and we settled for a cottage on day 2 night.
Day 3: Mawlynnong Village
Enroute to Mawlynnong, we took a detour to Dawki River. Kishore Da was helpful to cut the queue and get the tickets faster for a boat ride. We hired two boats. The water at places was sparking clean with the riverbed being clearly visible. After lunch, we started our journey to Mawlynong. Known as Asia's cleanest village, Mawlynnong was a breath of fresh air. The unique living root bridges and the Sky Walk offered stunning views. The serene atmosphere and well-maintained surroundings left an indelible mark. Sameuel's Homestay was clean and provided a comfortable nights stay. Bangladesh is nearby and airtel ended up activating international roaming pack automatically on my postpaid account.
Day 4: Shillong
We started our journey to Shillong on day 4 and on the way we took a short stop at Khasi Hills which provided a mesmerizing valley view with plenty of greens and a cloudy blue sky. We had a quick lunch in nearby outlet and continued our journey to Shillong. By early evening we reached Shillong and did a quick walkthrough "Ward's Lake". In Shillong we explored Police Bazar and savoring local delicacies added a flavorful touch to the day.
Day 5-6: Kaziranga
Day 5, we started our long drive to Kaziranga early (9am). We had authentic Assemese lunch at Anurag Dhaba. On the way to Kaziranga, Kishore Da suggested a detour to Tezpur. Near Koliabhomora Bridge, we hired a motor boat at extra cost and went in to see dolphin point in Brahmaputra river (shores of Alimar Chak) . The view of Brahmaputra was breathtaking. We saw many dolphins (brown color), however they don't jump to too high out of water. Movements of Dolphins was too fast and random for our photography skills. We spent almost 2 hours there and after viewing the sunset we resumed our journey to Kaziranga. At Kaziranga, we stayed at Bikramji's cottage (Zakai Eco Camp). We concluded the day 5 with a local folk dance by local dancers and some astro photography in the backyard of the cottage. Kaziranga's wildlife extravaganza began on day 6 with an exhilarating elephant safari, encountering rhinos and wild buffalo up close. The afternoon Jeep safari deepened our connection with the diverse flora and fauna, making this a wildlife enthusiast's paradise. Through our stay the kitchen team lead by Gopalji made sure that they fed us with the local flavour. Bikramji's family was also incidentally present around due to school holidays and it was nice interacting with them.
Day 7-8: Guwahati
Day 7 we started our journey to Guwahati. On the way to Guwahati, we took opportunity to visit few temples on the way ( Trishuldhari shiva temple and Maha Mrityunjay Temple). Day 8 started very early(5am) with a visit to Kamakhya Temple. While the feel of spirituality cannot be denied, the temple queue management was a bit challenging taking us 4 hours+ for dharshan to be completed. Umananda Temple on Peacock Island offered serenity amid the Brahmaputra River. A lunch at Ghoomer Restaurant's delectable Rajasthani cuisine provided a fitting end to the journey. We dashed to Airport for a journey back home after the lunch.
In conclusion, this Northeast expedition was a symphony of natural beauty, cultural richness, and wildlife adventure. Each destination offered a unique flavor, leaving us with memories to cherish. This journey is a must for those seeking a diverse and enriching travel experience. Trip Northeast & team enhance the experience by taking away the hassles of managing the travel & timing and providing required guidance to you.

Honeymoon Trip - It was our honeymoon trip to Meghalaya which we've decided to travel with 'Trip to Northeast'. It was a really memorable trip for both of us. Thanks for all the arrangements of hotels specially 'BMG Urbanstay' in Guwahati where they've arranged honeymoon Celebration for us. We were really touched with all the hospitality & trip plan done by Mr. Bikramjit. Our driver Mr. Khonin was very generous with us but we've found he's little less energetic as a tour guide, but he helped us a lot in many ways. So thank you so much all of you for making our honeymoon memorable for ever.

Great Experience over all and definitely would recommend to anyone that are visiting North East India Region. - Trip Northeast team did great in planning a long family vacation in Assam and Meghalaya. The team is very eager to serve the guests with great hospitality and humility. They went out of their scope to support us in the requirement of pure Vegetarian Food.
Thank You Mr Bikramjit and Team.

Assam and Meghalaya in the midst of monsoon! - We booked Trip Northeast for a family of 4 visiting Kaziranga, Shillong, Mawlyn and Cherrapunji on a 7 day trip. Mr. Bikram was very patient in listening to our requirements and planning the trip (cabs, sightseeing and hotels at some places), making changes as we changed our mind, also adjusted price accordingly. We went with some of our hotels and some with his recommendations. Kaziranga trip was memorable since we trekked unpopular areas and was fun - it was only possible because of his awareness and contacts. We missed out Dawky lake due to heavy rains. Enjoyed the waterfalls thru the rain. The only downside was that the driver was a smoker, ate zarda, and didn't maintain hygiene. Mr. Bikram was surprised with my concern and indicated that his foreign tourists don't complain. I was told that most in Northeast smoke. Anyways, I didn't want to play the spoilsport and went ahead. The driver was a nice person though and he did his best to make sure we were comfortable. At the end, it was a memorable trip overall and hence my rating is 4.

1 week spent in Meghalaya/Assam - We went for this 6D/5N trip to Meghalaya and Assam during Jan winters.
Got this deal from #traveltriangle , but they are of no use to us.
They just shared this enquiry with local or other travel agents who can actually help us.Travel triangle just made there commission by sharing your lead to others.
We finalized this trip with #Indeman Travel Solution which is again another mistake for this tour.
They just add up in the itinerary without understanding the road or weather conditions of that place.
Alot of miscommunication between the agent and the driver.
The driver was not aware about the local language of meghalaya and we got stuck because of that.
The location were great but the hotels options provided by the agent was not upto the level.
I will give separate reviews of the places and hotels.
